Stayed at the Beachcomber for Valentine's Day and it was great. Situated right in the heart of Surfers Paradise a short walk to the beach or Cavill Mall. The room was well equipped with fridge, microwave, laundry, safe and outdoor setting on the balcony which is lovely to sit and watch the waves. The furniture is maybe a little dated...

As we went to our deluxe room, the first thing we noticed was the stale of cigarettes. Then upon entering our room, paint was peeling off the shower ceiling, the showerhead was that low that we needed to squat to shower. It was only four foot high. The kitchen cupboards were peeling off the laminate. The king bed was two...

We have recently stayed at Beachcomber for 5 nights. Yes, the apartment was dated and could have been cleaned a bit better but overall we had a really good stay. I don't know what people expect for such a cheap price. We got a 1 bedroom apartment with an ocean view for around $65 a night (it was showing as...

It's not a hotel, it's an apartment so you don't get your room cleaned and other services however we took a studio apartment with ocean view and got a room at 24th floor. It was an amazing view with a balcony. We don't might staying there again because it's in the city, walking distance to any good restro, bars, Hard...

Please note that there is no wifi in all rooms even though it was clearly stated upon booking that wifi is provided. It is only provided at the lobby and there was even a day when there wasn't any at all! Kitchen appliances worked fine, room décor was dated but overall okay. Location and view from the room was very...

A bit out of date but everything was fine. The Ocean views 29 Story's high was great, Room was tidy and clean. Bathroom was large enough to have washing machine and dryer and bath shower. Which save a heap of time looking for laundry mat. Enough room to make coffee an a meal. Good Location as well.

Number one killer is the elevators!!! There are 3... Only one works. So if you want to go anywhere or come home you better allow extra waiting time for it to get to you AND expect to be jammed in with all the other annoyed residents and visitors! We waited for literally 10 minutes with 20 other people and finally...

I booked our first family holiday in 7 years back in August 2015 for arrival April 19th 2016 for a week. I made multiple calls over the 8 months to double check my booking, room and to ensure we were getting a sea view. I requested a studio originally then the lady upgraded me to a 1 bedroom for an...

Booked a king 1 bedroom ocean view. Received a queen 1 bedroom ocean view. That was ok though, the bed was really comfortable and I really don't think they could fit a King in that bedroom. The room was well appointed with decent kitchen. The view was great. Surfers paradise lights up the ocean at night so it's nice to...
