Firstly we would like to thank the wonderful reception staff and concierge team for their wonderful welcome. As we were here for a short time as part of our honeymoon, we were kindly upgraded and given a plate of dessert and a bottle of red wine, which we though was so above and beyond. The hotel is located right near everything, the rooms are comfy and clean and the facilities such as the pools and the gym were good. Everyone has been friendly and given good service. First time staying at a Hilton hotel and we would definitely come back.

I have emails the GM, Filled out a survay, left a google review, phoned in at the time of my booking and nobody cares! Good Afternoon Fiona, The last time I gave the Hilton a review it was all praise, however after my last stay I would say that I will struggle to stay at your hotel again. I am a single father and my kids live with there mother on the Gold Coast, (I live in Brisbane) so most weekends when I have to pick them up after I finish work on a Saturday 3pm and drop them back to there mothers on a Sunday morning I get hotel rooms on the coast.. for me a few hundred dollars is better time spent with my 2 little girls 5 and 7 than driving back and forth from Brisbane. Last Saturday I had the opportunity to get to SeaWorld to visit the Spooky nights special event, So at 1.08 I phoned the Hilton direct and booked a hotel room. ******* is my number, you might want to listen to the 8min call for training purpose. The lady did struggle with English. But as far as I knew the room was booked and secured with my credit card. I finished work at 2.30 hoping to get in nice and early and be at SeaWorld before the crowed and get settled as my kids are still on the young side. I picked up my kids and headed straight to the hotel. On arrival I was turned around because the carpark was full and I parked across the road.. No big deal it happens. As you can imagen the mall and the street that the hotel was on was packed and not a very nice place to be walking around carrying bags and having a 5 and 7 year old girls following. I turned up at the reception desk, produced my licence and credit card only to be told that I have no booking. I suggested to the lady that she should check the credit card, phone number or email address that I booked under and all I got back was “if you cant show me the conformation email then I cant help you” . I showed here the 8min phone call to your hotel and I got a blank stare back. No she could not help me any further and I was told that your hotel was fully booked and that I should try some other hotels up and down the street. I could not find the conformation email as the person booking it couldn’t get it right and with the stress and frustration that occurred at the time I wasn’t really in a state to be reading emails and going through my junk folder on my phone. So I left your hotel and started walking the streets with my 2 girls and back packs and suit cases to try to find somewhere else to stay, after walking around for 30 to 40 min I had given up and told the girls that we would I would have to get changed in the car and we had no option to drive back to Brisbane and after trekking back to the car I pull my phone out of my pocket to pay for the parking to fine a text message, addressing me as Mr Barton and advising me that the carpark was full and I would have to park across the road. As soon as I got this I phoned back and spoke to someone who managed to fix the problem by the time I could walk back across the road AGAIN.. the original lady that service me received the phone call from the lady on the phone and on my arrival, she disappeared, and another lady served me. You can imagine how frustrated I was by this time and the lady on the phone advised me that the Hilton would work something nice out for me and that she would validate my parking.. Seriously I was insulted and still am as I have heard nothing from your company not ever a survey. So after hours of being stuffed around and having to walk my girls through a terrible environment we get to the room 309 and it stunk, there are dirty marks all over the carpet and I was less than impressed.. but what’s the point of complaining right! Your fully booked, nobody cares and I had already lost valuable time.. not money.. TIME. After this my girls and I made the most of the night.. and returned to the hotel, had some good room service and went to sleep.. On the way out in the morning I thought I would get my parking validated.. well the Hilton couldn’t get that right either. So I payed the $15 and have gotten on with my life.. I had 2 employees staying there across the weekend off of my recommendations from the last visit and I have to again say.. I will be hard pressed recommending or staying there again after being treated like I was. Knowing I had your email from last time I thought it best I just email you direct so I fine someone who actually cares. Thanks again

Second visit to this hotel first visit had problems with windows not closing so couldn’t fit out the noise, terrible night sleep as a result and out two year old same. Maher was very good how ever to compensate us. Second visit again faulty bedroom light tripped out whole apartment no doubt safe but useless to us.again I’m loving the manger was very good to compensate us. Overal rooms are lacking simple quality checks but the service is very good.

After my initial hotel cancelled on me a week before my holidays I was lucky enough to stay at the Hilton Hotel. What a great place with the rooms having everything you need and more. They certainly make you feel welcome and the staff are very friendly and helpful. What an awesome place and so close to everything. I know where I will be staying in future and you should too. Thank you Hilton for a great stay.

The rooms are modern, clean. The bed is super comfortable. The range of pillow types is helpful. Breakfast buffet is everything you could possibly want. Collect coffee, food yourself and/or order eggs how you like them. Quite a few pools to choose from, but the heated indoor pool, sauna and spa were great. Walking out onto Orchid Ave and Cavill Ave means you have a variety of restaurants for dinner, or choose fast food alternatives. A supermarket is not far away, or use the smaller grocery stores scattered throughout Surfers. It is only a short walk to the beach, great to see by day or night. For public transport the tram is only a short walk away.
