Good access to shops, beach, marina etc Accommodation was modern and well maintained. Very spacious and everything thought of- beach towels through to laundry detergent and a fab coffee machine. Very friendly hosts

Stayed 2 nights here for another great barrier reef experience. It's located on a quiet street but not far from town center and marina. The 2-bedrooms unit was clean and well-furnished; there was no lift in the building so it might be difficult to carry heavy luggage to upstairs. We had read the reviews and must admit were concerned by the one star reviews prior to arrival. However, in our experience The Queenslander contributed to an absolutely blissful experience in Port Douglas. The studio accommodation was well maintained, fully equipped for our needs (including very effective air con - needed! - and excellent wifi coverage) and Rosemary and Damien...

We stayed for 6 nights and we thought the hosts Rosemary and Damian were excellent- very helpful and accommodating. The 1st floor apartment was clean and very comfortable. We stayed for eight nights in a one bedroom apartment which was very well equipped and spotlessly clean.....excellent value at around £50 a night. A well positioned clean, we'll kept place, great value for money with friendly people running it. We stayed 3 days and would return and highly recommend .washer dryer a great bonus when on tour well designed Pool area with bbq area for guest use.

We had a two bedrooms studio with kitchen, living room, shower room and balcony. The apartment was better equipped than expected with even a washing machine, ironing board and iron. It was well located near the beach marina and local shops. The pool resembled a river pool and had free BBQ facilities and a fridge with various sauces for guests...

I am here with my mom and we both enjoy this place the staff are nice the hotel rooms are big with 2 bedrooms and a full kitchen. It placing is very convenient because you can walk to the shopping center and to the beach.
