Port Douglas, Australia is way up the coast on the northeast tip of the continent. Cairns is the one big City in the area. I did a motor trip with Australian friends in November , 1998 with friends. Seeing Port Douglas gave me perspective.

We had a terrific stay here, the design and layout of this resort is well appointed. The apartment is well equipped with everything you could need. It was modern, fresh with a good size balcony and the big fluffy white bath sheets were great. Very helpful staff and a great location made our stay so easy we will definitely be...

Fantastic hotel, excellent location, close to the beach and town. Large swimming pool with sandy beach. Clean room with balcony overlooking the pool. Helpful friendly staff. Was going to book a meal but all fish dishes were unavailable, so went elsewhere. Overall a wonderful stay.

A warm and welcoming Peppers. Very convenient location with only a short walk to the main beach, marina and shops. Beautiful pool and waterside dining, with a reasonable menu for lunch and dinner. Excellent bar service with lots of lovely cocktails. Very friendly and helpful staff. Small but comfortable spa room.

Would be okay but massively overpriced. Room overlooking pool and screaming kids from morning to evening. Sun loungers sparse & so uncomfortable. If I'd paid $200 less per night, like I did down the road fine, but for the premium charged I would have expected much more.

We thought the resort was excellent and would like to bring our adult children and their children for a team holiday - that will depend on the overall cost including airfares and car transfers from Cairns

Lovely spot, close to the beach. Amazing central pool with swim up bar and restaurant. Great food. Beautiful landscaping. Not even five minutes walk to the town centre with lots of restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly and courteous. We stayed in the villa on the ground floor facing the beach. Very quiet, comfortable beds. Perfect if you want...

Lovely resort that is within walking distance to the main town in PD. Great location indeed. Quiet enough also which was good. Private underground carpark for guests was much appreciated. Very family friendly resort. The staff are friendly indeed but we felt the resort was a bit understaffed. Daily cleaning service was pretty good most of the time. We booked...
