Stayed 11 nights in Reflections during May 2011. Carmel was a great host - very friendly and helpful. We had a top floor 3 bedroom apartment which was quite spacious and well appointed. The beds were the most comfortable that I have slept in. The apartment was clean and air conditioning fantastic. The heated pool was excellent and the wading...

I absolutely loved my experience at Reflections of PD. The rooms were spacious - great for entertaining friends, clean and the beds are huge (and comfortable). The lush gardens give it a tropical North Queensland feel and most importantly Carmel, was just lovely. She couldn't do enough for us. I would definitely recommend having a Reflections experience.

Reflections of Port Douglas is probably the best kept secret of Port Douglas. The apartments are set up beautifully, and we felt like we were at home as soon as we arrived. Carmel and John are the most amazing hosts - they are friendly, and will do whatever they can to help out. We travelled with our 1 year old...

We had a wonderful 7 nights here at the end of April. The location was fantastic, the compex had a real tropical feel. Nothing was too much bother for Carmel and John, fantastic host. The pool was heated which was a very appreciated bonus. We went out walking early in the mornings and after seeing what else was on offer...

The accommadations at Relections were exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to experience the small, but quaint downtown of Port Douglas which is filled with lovely stores and restaurants. Reflections is conveniently located in this vicinity and only a few steps from the beach. Our room was clean and spacious. It was updated with granite countertops and the...

Stayed at Reflections from 9-16 October. Found the accommodation very nice to stay in, very roomy with all facilities that one would like to enjoy their holiday. Walking distance to shops/restaurants/pubs and the beach. John and Carmel, Relections managers are most accommodating.

Lovely apartment in a lovely place. Perfectly located for beach and the town. Carmel was so helpful in suggesting and booking things for us and using her knowledge as to what was best for us and our little children. All great, right down to the pink bucket and spade for our 2 year old daughter to take down to the...

We stayed here with our two teenage kids for 4 nights. Great location, close to the local shops in Macrossan Street and right next to 4 Mile Beach. The pool was deep, clean and a good temperature, and we had it to ourselves despite visiting during school holidays. Rooms were comfy, nice fittings and furniture. Did notice that the floors...

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment for the first part of our honeymoon for 6 days. We found the apartment to be clean & spacious & it had everything we needed. The location was brilliant- just a two minute walk to the beach and really near to all the bars and restuarants however it was still nice & quiet...

Although the owners/ caretakers were really nice, i would not stay here again. I feel a little guilty writing a bad review, because they were really nice and lovely people. But the fact of the matter is, these self-catering apartments are really average. For the price you can do much better. The location is great - its on the quiet...
