Went to Port Douglas with my son for 4 nights. Had the most relaxed and happy holiday there which started by us staying at the Hibiscus Resort. Our room was clean and comfortable and the resort was close to the Main Street with cafes, restaurants and other shops. Perfect location for anyone going to Port Douglas and I'd recommend it...

A wonderful hotel really close to the Main Street full of eateries, the beach and the marina- a perfect location Exceptionally friendly staff, beautifully furnished rooms, and tranquil surroundings within the perimeter of the hotel Breakfast was included in our stay, which was delicious and fresh We couldn't have asked for more; a relaxing haven perfect for a beach holiday...

Great value hotel in a very handy location. Being so close to town meant the freedom to walk into the restaurants/shops without the hassle of having to wait (and pay) for shuttle buses to and from the resorts down the road. Our room probably had the worst view in the hotel (you get what you pay for) so we didn't...

Hibiscus really is a tropical paradise. With 2 pools surrounded by tropical plants. A day spa. Really nicely fitted out rooms. A lovely spot to have your breakfast. Plenty of Webber Qs around if you wanted to cook your own BBQ. Bean bags in and around the pools for relaxing. Really close to town, but not on the main drag....

Having stayed at this Resort several years ago we rebooked. Unfortunately I mistook the description of the available accommodation and booked a studio apartment. This would have been excellent if we were going to trip around and use PD for a base but we were looking for a pleasing outlook from our suite. However we were able, with no fuss...

Nice complex near centre to shops and high street. Designed in rain forest style in wood unique and different from other hotels. The rooms have living room, bedroom and and kitchen area, clean and comfortable. Some rooms are privately owned and you have to pay for WiFi but it is cheap. Reception staff helpful. I would stay again as the...

My wife and I stayed in a one bedroom unit for 5 nights in late April 2016. We really enjoyed our stay at Hibiscus and would definitely stay there again. Although now a bit dated, the room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The room overlooked the pool and had an adequate kitchen to prepare...

Great location. Very close to town – everywhere is just a few minutes’ walk. And for the beach oriented, the swimming net if directly down the street. Those staying out-of-town in the large resorts have a 2-3 kilometre walk to get the ‘safe’ swimming area of the 4 mile beach, quite important in ‘stinger’; season. We stayed in a studio...

Wish we had booked to stay longer was the only down side! Staff was great from start to finish. Loved the theme and deco of the place. Room was spacious with balcony and very clean and tidy. If we have the chance to go back to Port Douglas we would definitely book this hotel.
