My second visit to Port Douglas this year and Hibiscus Resort and Spa is a little piece of paradise in town, distinctly Balinese in style, the atmosphere of the property is of tranquillity and relaxation. Late October early November we were told is the low season, and what a great time of year to be in Tropical Paradise = No... More

This is the second time we have been back to Hibiscus Resort and Spa, we really enjoyed oour time here both times we have stayed. There are 2 pools on eitehr side of the property both very relaxing and have plenty of lounges to relax by the pool. The 4 mile beach is only a short 5min walk away and... More

We had 10 days at this resort. Its uniquely different from most other places in Port Douglas, with a balinese feel to it. A bit dated in places and requiring some repairs, but still lovely vibe. Loved our 1 bedroom unit on the 3rd floor with a pool view and a good size balcony, great for meals and avo drinks.... More

My daughter and I stayed at this wonderful Balinese inspired resort in late October 2016, our room was spacious clean and overlooked one of the two pools. Breakfast was ample and we enjoyed home made cereal, jams, muffins and a variety of breads. Staff were friendly and assisted wherever needed. Location was great, short walk to four mile beach, the... This is a beautiful resort & spa, very welcoming, neat and tidy. We stayed in the 2 bedroom on the top floor, it was self contained so if you wanted to you could just duck down to Coles and get some food to cook in or there is a mountain of restaurants just a block up the road to dine... More

Our second year in a row at Hibiscus Resort & Spa, Reception staff are friendly and helpful (thank you Scott). Buffet breakfast is very good. The one-bedroom apartment was clean and quiet, although a tad dated. There were two particular improvements on last year - linen change after five nights and garden maintenance. We look forward to returning next year.

The Hibiscus Resort has a lovely ambience, staff very welcoming and helpful. If you want a relaxing holiday this is the perfect place. Start the day with continental breakfast by the pool followed by a stroll to the beach for a walk/swim. On return to the resort grab a book and head to the beautiful pool, grab a day bed... More

We had a wonderful time here. Location is great, nice and central to the shops and the beach. Breakfast was included around a lovely pool area. Only downside is both laundries were out of service and I was pointed politely to the laundromat about 15 mins walk away.

Breakfast included is a winner and by the pool each morning it is a great way to start each day. 1 minute to the beach, 30 seconds to the main street of town, in a quiet street itself. The rooms were nice, and the spa bath was great.

I recently stayed at Hibiscus and had a wonderful time! The location is perfect. A block from the main street, a block from the mariner and a block from the beach. Perfect. On the days when we didn't feel like going anywhere, Hibiscus was a nice spot to laze about and soak up the sun, swim and relax. The back... More
