We decided to upgrade from the studio to the 1 need apartment because it had more space and a stove (not that we were cooking more than toast). Generally room 32 of the Regal is pretty good and if you like a 27" flatscreen, a firm bed and steps (there's no lift and 3 floors) you'll be stoked. There's hardly...

Stayed 3 nights during a trip from the UK. Great location and superbly equipped accommodation. Within strolling distance of restaurants, beach and dock area. The apartment was sparklingly clean with full facilities. The spa was great and the room was cool. Very friendly reception/manager who made our stay very easy. Thoroughly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Regal. The rooms were very spacious and well equipped. We really enjoyed the hot tub on the balcony. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely come back again, was perfect for our needs!

Booked same room as we had last time, Very spacious One Bedroom Unit with Kitchen, Laundry, Jacuzzi, Large bathroom, Large bed, Air con & Ceiling fans etc. Sheryl & Bob the managers are great plus Jackie cleaner/ receptionist. The Regal has the warmest pool of the 5 apartment blocks we have stayed in at Port Douglas. The Regal is situated...

Clean, central location, helpful staff, great pool, good room facilities. The only downside, no lift. We spent one week at the Regal looking out over Port Douglas. The pool was clean and had God areas for sunbathing. The kitchenette had facilities to prepare a meal although the location gave many options to eat out. Highly recommended

When we walk in your are greeted by Sheryl’s warm, bubbly, simile. Bob checked us into our apartment and showed us how to use hot-tub. Gave us some advice where to eat and where is the Coles. The room is to one side the bed and other side was the balcony. I am guessing all the rooms are similar configurations....

Ideally located right in the heart of Port Douglas, shopping, cafes, restaurants and bars are only a few metres away. Our room although compact and on the rear side of the building is quiet and a great place to retreat too when the day outside is mid 30s Celsius. The large spa bath is great for two to relax in...

My partner and I stayed at the Regal for 6 nights, we don't have one complaint. The moment we arrived we were greeted by Bob & Sheryl who were warm and inviting. Bob took us up to our room and gave us the run through on all our amenities, a quick show and tell on the Jacuzzi and how to...

The rooms were small and the shower is in a strange oval bathtub which was kind of inconvenient for showering. The shower sprayer did not work very well. The room was clean however. The hotel is somewhat dated and the public areas are from the 1990s. The pool didn't look very inviting so if you want a pool and that...

While we had a pleasant stay and the staff were friendly and helpful the hotel photos did not reflect our experience. The room with king bed took up all of room with nowhere to put suitcase. The layout was extremely pokey with nowhere to sit (no lounge or chairs) except on the balcony with the heat or the monsoonal rain....
