We stayed at the peninsula for 5 days and enjoyed every minute. Perfectly located and beautifully designed. The free laundry came in extremely handy. The hosts and staff were very caring and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

My partner and I recently stayed at the Penninsula Boutique Hotel for 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay. It was wonderful to be across the road from the stunning beach and the location is convenient to shopping and resteraunts. Our room was immaculate and tastefully decorated. We were on the ground floor which had an outside table and chairs...

We have just returned to the UK having had a wonderful holiday in Australia. We finished our holiday by staying for a week in Port Douglas at the Peninsula Boutique Hotel. It was wonderful. Excellent location, very well run with excellent service, staff couldn't be more helpful. They advised and booked our trips to the rainforest and the Great Barrier...

This is a lovely, human sized hotel, positioned a couple of hundred yards from the main shopping and restaurant area in Port Douglas and within walking distance of the marina. Very quiet at night so we slept like tops. The rooms (suites) are large and area with mini kitchens and a nice sitting/eating area. Beds are good (ours was a...

One of the best designed modern room suites we have stayed in. Bathroom open plan with walk in wet room shower. Comfortable lounge with lockable glass doors to verandah area giving access to pools. Good cooked breakfast served in pool section. Friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. Fantastic location near beach. Wish we had booked more than 4 nights!

We stayed here as part of a New Zealand & Australia holiday via Trailfinders. The hotel organised airport transfers which went very smoothly indeed, on arrival we were greeted by a really lovely receptionist who gave us our door passes and helped us to our room. I have to say I wasn't expecting such a high standard of hotel, but...

My husband and I recently stayed 9 nights in FNQ staying in Palm Cove, Port Douglas and our final 2 nights at Silky Oaks Lodge. We rate the standard of accommodation and service at Peninsula Boutique by far the best. I agree totally with other reviews down to the welcoming cold drink on arrival, great breakfast buffet, superior room facilities,...

This is the fifth time we've stayed at Port Douglas, but the first at this lovely hotel. We checked it out during our visit last year and decided it was for us. It's in a brilliant position fronting onto Four Mile Beach and one block from the shops. Only 34 rooms makes it a cozy and intimate stay. Staff we're...

My wife and I spent 5 nights in this small boutique style hotel as part of our first trip to far north Queensland on the occasion of my wife's 80th birthday. What a very fortunate choice this proved to be. We were greeted on arrival, following a fairly long road journey from Cooktown, by the delightful Sheryn, (owner/host/manager) with a...

My husband and I stayed here in late Sept/early Oct. We absolutely loved it- the location is perfect- right opposite the beach and a quick stroll to shops and restaurants. The room was well presented and clean, staff were super friendly and helpful. We loved having access to washing machines: less clothing to pack. Children free was fabulous: a great...
