Very comfortable and clean cabins. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Park facilities are excellent. The grounds were clean and tidy providing a great swimming pool and water feature area for those who enjoy a bit of water entertainment. Love to return some day. Brian & Robyn from Whyalla SA.

Glengarry Park is a hidden gem. Not far off the highway to Port Douglas but far enough away that you can't hear the traffic hidden behind cane fields & nestled near a mountain is this oasis. It has great camp facilities & amenities, an inground pool & water park for the kids all set in a tropical setting. And only...

Have stayed several times before and been very happy. First time stayed since water park was installed. Found pool area and water playground a little too crowded as Day passes and Birthday Party's are also allowed for area. Perfect for kids but no so much for adults if you want to have a relaxing swim. Staff friendly, spot given to...

We stayed 2nd week of January and it was very quiet. The kids loved the pool and water park. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The cabins only have a microwave, electric stove and electric fryingpan for cooking, however our stove struggled to get hot enough to cook anything and unfortunately was near useless. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at Glengarry Holiday Park for 3 night at the end of December. We really enjoyed our stay there. It was a great base from which to organise trips to the great barrier reef and to the Skyrail. The water slides and pool were great for our kids (aged 4 to 9). They could have stayed in the pool/slides...

We had a fabulous week staying on an ensuite powered site in our caravan at the Big 4 in Port Douglas. We're a family of five with kids ranging from 12-15, and the park offered something for everyone in our family. We have just finished a 7 week trip around Australia from Perth and this park was up there as...

The 2 bedroom deluxe cabin was clean, beds comfy, tv in both bedrooms and lounge room, kitchen fully equipped with all that we needed, washing machine in bathroom was a bonus, had fans and had air con, wonderful surroundings, and the water park and swimming pool with slide was a massive hit for us and our 3 girls. We all...

Experience all BIG4 Glengarry Holiday Park, Port Douglas and surrounds have to offer while enjoying the gorgeous weather of the tropics. We all need time out now and again whatever the weather, so discover the breathtaking northern tropics of Australia in our "GREEN SEASON" months at Port Douglas (December to March). The "GREEN SEASON" is often dramatic, wildly beautiful and eagerly awaited by our tropical rainforests. Without our annual rainfall, there would be no rainforest and, as many visitors discover, our 'Liquid Sunshine' doesn't usually interfere with diving, snorkeling or touring. The climate is seductive. Balmy days dissolve into tropical evenings. The tropics are a feast for the senses whether we have summer showers or warm sunshine during Winter. If all this is not enough, only 40 minutes drive to the south is Cairns with its shops, movie theatres, restaurants and beautiful Esplanade lagoon. ... more   less

“In QLD children under 9 are prohibited to sleep on the top bunk so double check bed configuration in your cabin. Prepare yourself to store all open food in the fridge so ants cant get at it. OR buy containers”

“We had a villa which slept 6 comfortable using the pull out sofa. They originally set up a double double bunk with single above and and trundle in a tiny room for our 4 children, this didn't work as you had to step over the trundle to go to the toilet / get out of the room but as soon as we asked for the sofa bed in the living area to be made up things were much better. Villa was spacious and well equip. ”
