This was the best hostel we have stayed in by far over our trip in oz. The hostel is set in a lovley tropical garden with hammocks and a lovley pool and chairs in it. The staff were lovley, always saying hello and checking how your day has gone etc. We made some great friends here as it has a...

I can't say enough about my stay here. First, the staff are very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They're also dedicated to making Tropic Days a great place. I always saw a staff member maintaining the facility or helping a guest. The hostel itself has a wonderful atmosphere. I believe it's a combination of the staff and guests that contribute to...

This is a really nice hostel. It’s clean and tidy with friendly and knowledgeable staff. It’s a bit out from the city centre, but they provide regular shuttle services. There's a nice outdoor area with a pool, hammocks and a free-to-use pool table. My only criticisms would be there are rooms-within-a-room, meaning that you can have people walk through your...

We had a great time at Tropic Days, the hostel itself is very spacious with multiple kitchens so it's never overcrowded. There are lots of hammocks, a nice pool and an outdoor bbq area to lounge around. The rooms are comfy and clean and include a fan and air conditioning (for a very small cost) to keep you cool in...

Quiet and cozy place and easy to get to center with the free shuttle. Only downside was the air-conditioning in the room did cost but hey you can't...

Really nice, chilled out hostel, staff were very helpful at all times and there is a shuttle bus into town several times a day. I stayed on a futon two nights which was only $16 a night! so really good for those on a tight budget, although there are obviously people around late at night and early morning but it...

Everything (kitchens, bathrooms, pool, garden...) is so clean and nice, also there are a lot of free food available. It is like home! The staff is so friendly, they do as much as they can to help you. The BBQ every Monday is just awesome, I had heaps of fun in there. That is not really cheap but it is...

This is my second visit here, went back specially as a friend wanted a "back pack hoste experience". (We are both in our 50s and had a great stay especially going into town for our voucher evening meal!) Can't fault it, we had a private double room with fridge and air con, took advantage of the plunge pool and gardens...
