We stayed at this hostel for five nights and camped. The tent was already set up when we arrived and had a mattress, sheets, pillows, towels and sleeping bags provided. It rained everyday for the duration of our trip but the tent never leaked which was really good! The facilities are very clean however the shower on the upper floor...

Tropic Days has been my favourite hostel so far whilst in Australia. There is a homely and friendly feel about the place, and the staff appeared to regularly clean the kitchen and communal areas. Make sure to go to the BBQ on Monday nights if you can! They serve emu, kangaroo, crocodile etc. (all good quality) and for a reasonable...

This is a great little hostel. We had the double room with shared facilities and a little kitchenette. It was clean and tidy and well presented. The staff couldn't do enough for us. They were brilliant and their knowledge of the area was good. The Aussie BBQ was a hoot. They cooked emu, roo, croc & barramundi as well as...

We moved to Tropic Days after space ran out at the sister hostel Traveller Oasis. We struggled to sleep at Travellers Oasis due to a noisy dog next door so were desperate for a good night sleep before our day trip to the Rainforest. We were pleasantly surprised with the room size (double room) but were a little concerned our...

My husband and I stayed in a double room at tropic days and loved it. Clean and very welcoming. An excellent shuttle bus service into the centre. Also really enjoyed their pizza nights, great for chatting to other travellers. The reception staff were also really helpful when it came to use choosing and booking tours. If they are full then...

My partner and I stayed in a double room for a week at tropic days . The room was very comfortable and spacious. One of the best hostels I have stayed in, nice staff, shuttle bus into town , evening activities , good facilities etc . Only thing I can fault would be the inconsistency of the showers but all...

Hostel located a bit out of the centre but it's not a problem because of the free shuttle bus regularly, also its not a long walk to town. The staff are friendly and very approachable. The atmosphere of the place is really relaxed with hammocks everywhere to add to the vibe. We stayed in tents which weren't incredibly comfortable, especially...

We spent 4 nights in a double room at Tropic Days during the last leg of our Aussie adventure. - easy late night check in - staff were helpful in providing tour info, bookings etc - the hostel is clean and tidy. Staff touch up the kitchen on several occasions during the day - there are lots of spots to...

Hostel itself is fab, really pretty paintings and a really good vibe to the place. Staff were excellent with organising trips and so helpful! Rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were so comfy! Only downer was that the kitchen was quite small so you had to wait a bit for food, apart from that so happy I stayed here!

I stayed in a few hostel in Cairns and this one is definitely the best! It has real character and the staff is awesome. Bathroom and kitchen are always clean, I stayed in the campground in the garden and it's very pleasant: there's shade so it doesnt' get too hot in your tent. The BBQ on Monday is great, there's...
