Unfortunately this place is extremly misleading you may as well have no doors on the rooms as you can hear everything i didnt sleep a wink or maybe an hour between 2-3am where there was no noise. You can hear the rooms above, the water pipes, the rooms next door, when people walk past, when they use the vending machines...

We stayed in may 2016 for 3 nights at this property. This property is very close to the cairns airport but a little away from the main city center. Its an easy 25 min walk to the main happening areas luckily we hired a car since day one so travelling was not an issue. This property is a mix of...

We stayed here twice within a week on our recent travels to Oz. We had two different rooms, which I will review separately below First of all the location. Lake street leads right into the centre of Cairns, so finding your way to and from the hotel is easy. For us it was just far enough out of the main...

Felt like a prison cell. Bedroom windows backed onto cement walkway between other rooms. Over looked car port roof from balcony. Staff disinterested, no "hope you enjoyed your stay". Not willing to help. Bad service at restaurant. Daily service to room was the only good thing.

We stayed for 3 nights at this very nice accommodation. It was a little way out of town central but only a 10 minute walk to most places. There was a little 24 hour supermarket nearby and also lots of little eating and drinking places close so going into town centre for basics was not a worry. The meals were...

I stayed at the Queenslander for 7 days with my wife and son. The room was spacious, clean, and the staff was pleasant. The overhead fans and a/c worked to keep the room comfortable without a lot of noise. The swimming pool was clean but unheated, so we did not use it. The small refrigerator was quiet. Outdoor parking was...

The rooms are lovely. But they do not offer the services which they advertise. Their advertising is deceptive and misleading. Do not stay here based on a claim made by the hotel. It is not accurate and you will be very disappointed. Oh and I've attached an image of my bed for you. The floor was cleaner and had less...

Lovely place welcoming friendly and helpful staff. Our room was clean and also very spacious. The kids had fun swimming in the pool. Shops not far walking distance, and muddies is not far to walk to take along the kids. The hotel felt very safe and we felt comfortable to stay here. I will be brining my family back here...

The rooms are very big and can easily sleep 6 persons which is great for families. The rooms are clean and well presented. Management can organise tours on site and have a restaurant. located about a 2 kilometre walk to town however walk along the esplanade and you wont care. Public buses at the door. Around good stay
