Stayed here for 10 nights in April. It was absolutely lovely and the staff were amazing. Room was spacious and clean, beds were comfy, air con was a god send, bathroom was clean, shower was AMAZING, free wifi. Location was about 20 min walk from the Lagoon on the Esplanade and the city where the shops are (with people saying...

I flew into Cairns from a long haul flight with only having the intention of staying for a 2 hour layover however my flight was cancelled and I wasn't due to fly out until 12 hours later. As it was such a long wait and early hours in the morning I decided to see if I could find a hotel...

One night stay pre flight next day. Not very clean, air conditioners were filthy. Very basic rooms. Room switch board kept tripping and hence no aircon, fridge or microwave.Night manager didn't have a clue. Must have been like that for a while as room smelt of defrosting fridge. I worked out that had dodgy microwave power point. Switched off...no more...

The reception staff were incredibly helpful when I repeatedly changed my booking and then offered a very reasonable upgrade which ended up saving me money. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was clean and tidy with lots of room and a washing machine and drier. Towels were changed every day. We were on the ground floor and didn't have...

We had a pleasant stay here for two nights in December while visiting the Great Barrier Reef. The room was clean with comfy beds and a decently stocked kitchenette. We had access to the grocery store and it was about a 15-20 minute walk along the promenade into the town centre. Meals from the restaurant were ok with a basic...

We booked and stayed for the first time in 2015 and found out that it was good family apartment with great service. And we booked again when we visited the 2nd time and ask for a hotel room instead and the staff saw us with young children and place us in a comfortable room near to the swimming pool for...

I 'winged' much of my 3rd trip to Australia, and booked my last night at this hotel less than a day ahead of arriving. For my first night of the trip I stayed at a different place in Cairns, but next time would stay here. This hotel has the self-service amenities I appreciate (mini-kitchen), good a/c, and lots of room...

Our group booked in at the the Cairns Queenslander for it's central location and swimming pool facilities. We entered our 2 bedroom unit pleased to discover a spacious and well appointed room as well as two additional unwanted guests 'cockies' scrambling across the floor. The kitchenette was pokey but did the job. We also had to swim at the public...

We spent 2 nights there around a scuba trip and it was fine. Clean and adequate. Paid with frequent flier points so really happy with the stay. Clean rooms with kitchen facilities and close to shops. No complaints
