It was a pleasant stay at Annie's - the rooms and bathrooms were clean, the place was neat, different than most of the other places (in a positive way), and pretty convenient to the CBD area. It's also a bit small and old; the breakfast is relatively sparse (OJ, toast & cereal), the bed is squeaky, and the street facing...

I was looking for overnight accomodation, and was lucky to get a room at Annie's. I was immediately felt welcome in their quaint little B&B. The decor is old fashioned - but that's the whole charm of the place! The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. The shower had awesome pressure and hot water. I found it to...

I have stayed at Annies Inn a couple of times now. One time about 7 years ago and another about a week ago. Not much has changed with this little gem. The warm welcome when we arrived and morning smile at breakfast time is still all the same. The rooms on the front of the hotel can be a bit...

It's quite a steep climb from Central Station to the traffic lights at the corner of Upper Edward Street, so bear this in mind if you have a suitcase or two. However, it only takes five minutes from outside the station. Listing the location as next door to the ANZ Bank would make it even simpler to find. Non-ensuite rooms...

Thoroughly enjoyed this B&B. Had great conversations at breakfast and with evening tea. Very comfortable for a woman traveling solo. The staff were lovely. Location close to public transportation, restaurants and shopping.

We stayed for 8 nights after seeing all the good reviews, and indeed it was not disappointing. The room was comfortable and big for 3 person, with clean bedsheet, and throughout our stay, the staff (Tony and others) was extremely friendly and helpful. The dining tables was filled with thank you cards to the staff from all over the world,...

I stayed here for 4 nights a week ago and had nice time despite the bed sloping at the center. I could have rated this inn higher, but I have trouble sleeping on the 2nd day up to the last day of my stay. The first night, I was able to sleep long because I've traveled for nearly 15 hrs....

Annie's is pretty much an upscale hostel. In a good location, with a super friendly and helpful staff. The only downfall is that most things in the area close down around 6:30/7:00. Ask for a room upstairs if you like to sleep in or are a lite sleeper, if can get pretty noisy near the dining room.

Very happy with my stay at Annie's Shandon Inn. $75 per night for a single room inclusive of a basic breakfast (cereal, toast and juice) and free tea and coffee. Usual check-in time is from 12pm, I arrived earlier and since my room was free Tony was nice enough to let me check-in early at no extra charge. He also...

We stayed here for 4 nights in April and had a fantastic time. The rooms are quite old fashioned and basic but the very central location and lovely helpful staff more than made up for it. It was very good value for money. Very quiet at night and although the bathroom was shared it was always available when we wanted...
