We were quite impressed with this yha. The guy at the desk was really friendly and gave us free drink vouchers on arrival after we span their welcome wheel. It wasn't a particularly characterful hostel, but it was modern, clean and comfortable.

I stayed the night in one of private rooms with a bathroom. It was clean and central to the train station, but that was all that was going for it. I've travelled enough to not go to a hostel expecting hotel quality, but I do expect to be allowed to sleep more than a couple of hours, especially before an... More

It is a good, but little anonymous place to stay. The room I stayed in (female dorm for 6), was too small and there was only one tiny window we could open about 3cm. Apart from the room the hostel is very nice and clean. The Kitchen is big and the view from the roof top spectacular.

I stayed here with my adult daughter in a private 2-person room that did not have a private bathroom. It was really clean, and the room was nicely set up, and the hostel was quiet. We were only in Brisbane one night, since we were had been to Brisbane before, and this time we were just in transit. We had... More

In the 8 months that my partner and I have been travelling, this is probably the best hostel we have stayed in. We had a private room with ensuite and the room was very clean and spacious. The kitchen is outstanding. So big and spacious with someone constantly patrolling and cleaning. Top deck is very good - Nice views. Long... More

I flew in after a 30 journey from the uk and checked into a hotel for the night to relax and sort myself out before coming to this hostel.. I could have just come straight here! We stayed overnight with my friends. We rented for a family room of 6. It was clean and it was a really a laid back stay. However, it was far from the train station and no wifi inside the room. Overall, it was worth the price. Will definitely recommend for backpackers travelers.

We visited brisbane on a short trip for the weekend and we hired a car for the two days. When we got to YHA brisbane, they informed us that there was no carpark available, and that we would have to park elsewhere. Given a football match was on at Suncorp, we had to wait until midnight to park our car.... More

Hi Yasin, Thank you for your review. We appreciate all feedback, whether good or bad as this helps us to continuously improve our hostel. While we do have a car park available for guest use, it does require prior booking and payment to avoid disappointment. This is typical for most hostels located in major cities and is clearly stated on... More
