I recently stayed at this hotel as I was attending a convention held at the Mecure (next door). It was a cheaper option and after going up to my friend’s rooms in the Mecure, I am soooo glad I stayed at the ibis. The rooms were so much cleaner, well maintained, and better appointed than its neighbour. 4 of us...

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. It is fantastic that you have enjoyed your recent stay. I do wish to apologize for the inconvenience cause by our recent elevator renovations. I am also glad to let you know that we recently had Gym facilities made available to our guest as part of the Mercure Ibis complex....

Good location to CBD and Queen St. Mall. Room was clean except for some mold in the corners of the bathroom. Breakfast buffet normally $22 -not worth the $22. For the discounted $5 was OK. Would stay there again because of the location and relative good value for such a hotel in the CBD area of Brisbane

Stayed here 2 x nights over New Year period, close walk to town and walk over bridge to Southbank. Small rooms but very comfortable for single traveller, well serviced, friendly cleaning staff, no problem with getting fresh milk, internet services at reception $2 coins, no pool, bit of a shame, $16 parking at nearby Mercure Hotel, free street parking on...

You may find that you can hear your neighbour's activities through the paper thin wall. Pros: Close to city Gives free toiletries Good public transport access Nice beds Huge rooms Clean bathrooms Great aircon Budget price! Cons:...

Great location in the CBD area, just a 5 minute walking distance to all the shopping streets. Room was clean & nice. Would be nice if there was a parking to the hotel. Parked in the hotel next door and paid $27 for it.

Got a bargain deal, and for the price we can't complain at all about the room or the friendly service. Close to everything. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Bar wouldn't serve me a nip of straight tequila and then had no ouzo so had to settle for a wine - and have a tequila in my room; that was the worst...

I had to stay overnight in Brisbane recently, and my accomodation and meals were not booked or paid for by me. I'd stayed there a few years ago, and thought it was a bit of a dive, but wow - it's been upgraded, and the rooms were just awesome. I can't rave enough about how comfortable the bed was, and...

Just cannot understand why the $50 key bond exists, especially without a formal explanation. When I checked out the reception staff told me the bond would be refrozen within 24 hours. After checking out I got to hang out for a few hours and needed to store my luggage in the hotel. A guy at reception asked me to pay...
