Located on the Esplanade the resort is walking distance to plenty of activities including the waterfront and Darwin City. We are a family of 5 with 3 teenage girls so we had 2 adjacent rooms. Rooms have a balcony overlooking a tranquil tropical garden. The wavepool on the waterfront is really good value at $18 for a family pass and... More

Palms City Resort is ideally situated on the Esplanade just a short walk from the restaurants and pubs on Mitchell Street, the Smith Street shopping mall, and the Darwin waterfront precinct. The grounds consist of individual bungalows scatter throughout lush tropical plantings around the swimming pool. There is a guest laundry and dining room with full hot breakfast (at additional... Stayed here for one night on our trip to Darwin. Had a standard room which actually seemed much bigger than the Garden Bungalow that others we were with chose. The grounds staff were very friendly. Breakfast was nice but there wasnt a lot left at 8:45 am The Chef who stood in the corner watching everybody was extremely off putting... More

I waited till I came home to write this review. This was the first time I had stayed at this hotel and I must say I was not disappointed. I got our room through a Groupon voucher. 3 night stay. If you use groupon make sure you do a printout of the paperwork. Learned it is cheaper to purchase accommodation... More

Beautiful retreat for the one night we stayed. Very close to the nightlife if you wanted to venture out. Had a relaxing time in the spa with drinks and nibbles. Was slightly overfilled, but we alleviated that.

We arrived here at Palms city resort at 2am yesterday and staying for 7 nights from Karratha after a horrible experience with flight delays. When we checked in - the boy at the door was really accommodating! We are in an Executive villa w outdoor spa and expected a lot more room but it's so small. We had a guy... More

From check in to check out this hotel is a great place to stay. We stayed in a bungalow that was clean, quiet and comfortable. It was close to Mitchell St and the central part of Darwin. When we are next in Darwin we will stay here without question.

Reasonably priced, friendly and helpful service with clean, well appointed rooms with shower but no bath. Bed comfortable and has small fridge, sink and microwave. Room was small, but did have a small verandah with table. Pool small and closes by 10 so no problem if staying close by. Wifi rather slow, but acceptable and provided for free. Close walking... Only 5 mins walk into the café/bar strip so best location in Darwin. Brekkie was good value & all the staff very friendly. Would definitely stay... More
