Don and I had an enjoyable stay here for our last two nights on our trip up the centre. The room was very clean and the air con was heaven in the Darwin heat. The price is affordable and the location is very central to walk around Darwin. Thank you both for an enjoyable stay Don and Wendy England

Enjoyable stay in the centre of town. Friendly reception from owners. Clean rooms, aircon worked, close to restaurants and shops. Well priced and centrally located. Fast and efficient service with a smile. Give them a try.

We stayed in darwin for a week before travelling to Kakadu for three nights and all was fantastic. We had limited choise for accomodation on last night of stay before flying out on the following day. This acomodation was booked via the internet prior to our trip. We told manager we were a family of four including two young children...

This place is not safe for female travellers, a lot of shouting/ banging/ arguments from other guests and outside, police present on more than one occasion. Not particulary clean. Overall: sketchy. Wouldnt advise

Flying to Darwin on barely 6 hours notice we found that very little accommodation remained available. The Poinciana Inn was centrally located and boasted tariffs comparable to the exotic resorts in town. Could it be that bad? Well yes it could. Arriving after midnight getting entry to our room was the highlight, after that there is really not a lot...

We arrived in Darwin at a point where there were few hotels at any prices with rooms due to the massive long term influx of contract workers building Darwins hotel and gas terminal future. We came off the Ghan and had to stay one night elsewhere in order to get a few days in this hotel (as the only hotel)...

We stayed there two nights. Booked in 10minutes before arriving. Was the cheapest place in Darwin. We had a family room, it was tiny but just enough. Room was clean. Good rate price/quality. Very close to everything.

Budget hotel, nice and friendly staff, recently refurbished, had a nice stay. Would recommend :) my kids really enjoyed the pool area and it's in such a good location. Still needs a bit of work, but was nice and clean.
