Nice hostel, stayed here for a week and really liked the relaxed friendly atmosphere. Most residents were workers so it wasn't a loud party hostel but it was really close to the main bars and clubs so you could go out and enjoy the nightlife close by or be able to sleep with no late noise. Free brekkie and big...

Stayed here for 1 night when trying to catch a plane to Bali for a holiday. The lodge is great with all the hostel amenities, features etc. It can be cleaner but it was very busy lodge with all the people coming and going. Great room and great people to meet here. Pool looks nice but I didn't use it....

My friend and I moved into this hostel after deciding we didn't like being in different Darwin hostel that was too much of a party atmosphere. This one advertises free breakfast, free laundry, and free wifi. We learned upon check-in that the wifi wasn't worked (apparently hasn't been working for ages!), but the breakfast and laundry were truly free, which...

Warm inviting atmosphere, although I appreciate this is largely due to the people staying there at the time. The room was the biggest one seen in a hostel so far and cleaned daily. The pool was also cleaned daily and serviced weekly I think. Free breakfast consisted of selection of cereals, toast, apple/ orange juice and yogurt. My only criticism...

If the rat in the kitchen had have moved slower i would have uploaded a photo. Awful place. Booked in for 3 x nights and checked out after the 1st. Where to start.. well a rat (apparently they live between floors) stealing some bread off the storage rack. No reports of them in any rooms to be fair mind, but...

I stayed here with some friends for a number of weeks and had a great time. Hang around the pool/kitchen area and you'll get to know all the regulars quickly. Weekends are great fun with plenty of pool parties. Owner is a decent guy to. Also there's free laundry

A very quaint and cozy hostel. The showers and toilets were cleaned daily and the pool was always a great way to cool off during the day. In easy walking distance of everything and off the main pub area so it's not too noisy. Great common area to hang out and meet people. Not the roomiest or flashiest hostel but...

If you want to have some fun at a pool area with other folks of your kind, this place is highly recommended to you. When we stayed there, some guys started their drinking at around ten in the morning at the weekends. Some of the people who stayed here worked around Darwin, so no bad word about having a little...

I stayed 3 days here in December and got absolutely covered with bed bug bites. Reception had a quick look at my mattress and neither confirmed nor denied whether there were bed bugs in there or not. I switched rooms my second night and received even more bites. Reception didn't seem too concerned with this and neither did many other...
