I really don't like to write negative reviews, but in this case I feel travelers should know--This was the WORST HOTEL AND RESTAURANT EVER! To show I am not being arbitrary, I will list some of the offenses. I have not even experienced a full day here yet and I just can't believe the total lack of management. OK let's...

The room was clean and, I understand, had recently been refurbished. We had a view of Uluru from the window. The restaurant was quite good. On site the service was good. One small issue was getting a promised refund for a tour that the resort cancelled. The refund was not forthcoming and so I had to send a reminder email....

We spent two nights at the Desert Gardens in March, which is probably lowish season for the Red Centre; and the 42C+ temperatures may also have had an impact on numbers. So things were quiet, particularly at dawn when we crept out to be first into the park for 0530 opening for a necessarily early start to bushwalking and the...

The facilities, people & food were all just great! The check in process was quick and smooth, room ready very quickly and the resort's facilities were all clean & tidy. We thoroughly enjoyed the resort.

I stayed here two nights and it was adequate. The rooms were small, and unfortunately, we had a bug problem. The staff did inform us that we could switch rooms, but it was very late at night when they came out and we were too exhausted to move. They have a pool and laundry that you pay to use. It...

My sister and I visited for 4 days in March. We fell in love with the landscape immediately, and everyone was so obliging and friendly. Shuttle bus service from airport, also around the resort was great. We initially decided to hire a car and how glad we were that we decided not to and we went with AAT Kings to...

This is a huge hotel in Uluru but you have to remember that all the hotels and activities are owned by Ayres Rock Resort so it is a bit of a ‘closed shop’ situation. It was extremely hot when we arrived at 9.40 (but we knew that but could only do it this time of year). We were horrified to...

Taking into consideration the price we paid to stay at this hotel, it was excellent value. We booked it as part of a package deal including flights from Melbourne for a 5 night stay in March and because we got it at such a bargain price, we had some concerns about the quality. We were however pleasantly surprised, it was...

Reviews like this are tricky to write. This four star hotel has seen better days and is in need of a serious make-over. The hotel management have this planned in for this year, 2015, so to over criticise the decor, quality of rooms etc is unfair. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable if a little tired. Generally the facilities...

Second stop of a 9-night Sydney, rock and reef tour. Surprised to discover this was a listed as 4 star as I'd be more inclined to consider it a 3 star. However, that said, it served its purpose well as a base to explore Uluru and the national park. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable and the air conditioning...
