The hotel is spread out, most of the rooms are at ground level, and the grounds themselves are lovely. There are large trees offering plenty of shade, a pool that offers respite on a hot day. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, we were staying in a ground floor room and had a small outside patio that went out...

Loved our visit to Ayers Rock. We stayed at the Desert Gardens for 3 nights..perfect place for us and glad we had the three nights - could have stayed longer. Renting a car in advance was a fabulous idea! We enjoyed driving through the park and seeing the sun on the "Rocks" whenever we wanted!! There was almost no traffic....

As many reviewers have noted, if you're staying at Yulara to see Uluru, you're fairly limited on options for hotels and food, and all are part of the same complex anyway. We got a good deal, so decided on the Desert Gardens. Unfortunately, and unbeknown to us at booking, ALL of the restaurants and food options on-site were closed for...

Have to wait for your room until mid-afternoon although they make sure you check out prompt on 10a.m. Reception area is like a hospital waiting room and the one toilet in that area was dirty with paper all over the floor. The restaurants were closed and the breakfast in town was indifferent. The whole place is slightly scruffy and the...

The room was excellent, really comfortable with fabulous views of Uluru. Like all Yulara hotels it's far from cheap but the room pretty much made up for that. Only issues with the bill made this a 4 star rather than 5....for this price the billing should be efficient rather than being overcharged. And when I did email to query the...

We stayed here whilst we spent a few days around Ayres Rock (Uluru), the staff were very friendly and the hotel was in a nice resort which included restaurants, cafes, supermarket and other shops. Our room was very clean and tidy and had all the facilities you would expect with a nice swimming pool and poolside bar. The only reason...

Stayed here as a 3 day package tour promoted for the Field of Lights. The rooms overlooking the Rock are exactly as advertised- delux and with Rock view. The room was second floor and well presented on arrival. It was colourful, with indigenous art on the wall and cushion covers. It had a full floor to ceiling and wall to...

I really liked the property. The rooms were new, large, well equipped, clean and our room had a view. The bath room was very large and beautiful. The pool was great and there was plenty of shade and pool towels. Many of the plants along the many paths between room were labeled so a visitor could understand what they were...
