We stayed 3 nights in a one bed apartment ... very stylish, roomy and well maintained. Bed was very comfortable, plenty of room and the best luggage rack I have ever seen. Bathroom was clean and well catered with 3 days worth of toiletries and towels. Really great water pressure and loads of hot water ... would have loved a bathtub with all the walking we did. Lounge/dining area is beautiful ... and plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen is well catered ... there is no oven which is a shame, we had to cook a whole chicken in the wok. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, could not fault them in any way. Highly recommended ... would absolutely love to stay again.

We stayed 4 nights in a one bedroom fully equipped apartment well situated alongside the Garden Desert Hotel. It had a balcony, large bedroom ensuite, dining , lounge room , kitchen & laundry cabinet with front loader washing machine and dryer. The decor was classy and well maintained and overall very comfortable. It is located a few mintes walk to the town square where you find lots of activities, local art for sale , boutiques, travel agents, cafes, restaurants and a great little IGA supetmarket with all you need. There is also a free shuttle bus out front to take you all around the resort complex from the hotel resorts, town, camel farm, pub and camping grounds. The bus leaves every 20 minutes. We really enjoyed the free activities that included didgeredoo lessons, bush tucker talks, Astonomy talks, guided garden walks.

We were very comfortable during our stay. The beds were great and the space was excellent for our family of 4 including 2 teenagers. The kitchenette was really helpful in keeping the overall costs of our stay more manageable. The decor was tasteful and harmonious to the environment.

Stayed 6 nights at Emu Walk Apartments in May. It was a one bedroom apartment. Fairly spacious all over. Good size bathroom with decent lighting and a spacious lounge & dining room. Separate Kitchen area with small fridge. Plenty of plates, cups, bowls etc. Bed was comfortable enough, but after day 4 it was starting to feel a bit hard. Shower pressure was good. Very close to Town Centre, Tourist Centre, IGA and all the little shops. Takes a few mins to walk there. About a 6-7 min walk to Sails. The thing that really annoyed me about this place though was that you couldn’t get room service. Now normally that wouldn’t bother me, but this area / resort is a “dry area” which means you cannot purchase alcohol to take back to your room. There is no bottle shop and no facilities for take aways. However, if you are staying at Sails, you can get room service and therefore a bottle of wine delivered (albeit for a very expensive price..) Considering that it is all part of the same resort and all facilities are available no matter which accom you book I was super annoyed that I couldn’t get a bottle of wine delivered to my room. This was not explained to me when I made my reservation. Especially as I was trying to book Sails in the first place, but they were booked out for my 6 nights (I could’ve stayed 5 instead had I known!) So if you enjoy a glass of wine on your holiday before you go to bed, bring it with you! On a positive note, staff were fantastic and very helpful with moving some bookings around etc.

Hi amber_in_wunderland Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback from you recent stay and we are pleased to note that you enjoyed Emu Walk Apartments and the service from our team. We greatly regret however that your time with us was impacted by the fact we are unable to deliver alcohol to your apartment. We are required to abide by Northern Territory Law, which means that it is not possible for us to deliver from one hotel to another. We do however hope that you were able to enjoy a drink or two at one of the restaurants and bars open within the resort. It was a pleasure to have you as a guest and we thank you for choosing to visit Ayers Rock Resort. Kind regards Todd Hunter General Manager Emu Walk Apartments
