I think many people arrive at the Kings Canyon Resort after staying at the Uluru Resort which draws perhaps an unfair comparison. It’s not the same standard but neither is it the same cost.

This hotel didn't work for us. It bigs itself up pretty well online but fails to deliver on several levels.
So, we're in the outback here in the middle of nowhere and in summer it's 40C+ so it's not as straightforward running a hotel here...More
We spent two nights here. The national park is awesome and the rim walk is spectacular. The resort, well it is nice but don't expect a lot on the service side. We had a spa deluxe room which was quite nice. The deal is the...More

Our Pizzas are a regular dinner plate size cut into 8 slices . I would say they usually feed 1-2 people each but depends on the usual appetite of each family member . They range in price from $12 each for Garlic and cheese to $22 for most varieties and $24 for Chilli Prawn pizza . Our food is produced by a qualified team of chefs in 4 different outlets throughout the day . Cheaper options are available as are self cooking facilities if you prefer. Our Outback BBQ is open from April - October and offers mains from $24 - $42 (300gm steak ) with average at $30 which includes salad bar , bread rolls and jacket potatoes and amazing live music. Carmichaels Restaurant also has a range of options for dinner starting from only $14 .
