We had an overnight stay here with our AAT Kings tour. The rooms look nothing special from the outside (think tin sheds and you won't be far out) but once in the rooms, you wouldn't know it. They are nicely fitted out and the beds are comfy. Being in the outback, there isn't a peep at night either. We had...

I rate this very good because the location does not offer much else. Quite basic but clean. Nice to feel its owned by the community. We had a breakdown with our car and Brad the maintenance man was FANTASTIC in helping us sort it out. Everyone was very friendly though.

Thank you Pamela J , but you may have the wrong location ? we are not community owned and have no one by the name Brad working here , sounds like a nice place you stayed at though . Regards MIchelle Ikin Rooms division Manager Kings Canyon Resort

Allocated room 138 at the hotel. The room was amply big enough with two beds and ensuite containing what appeared to be a bath/shower you would normally find on a boat, the bath being three-quarter sized although alright for a shower. My only gripe was that the air conditioning under made a noise like a top loader washing machine constantly...

Simple rooms in a four bed dorm for $125 ( approx $30 each!) . The room was clean, the amenities only 20 metres walk from the room. Towels supplied and a nice pool to swim. The resort has a General Store and service station. Breakfast in the Restaurant was nice and the pub welcoming. Saw a local Dingo in the...

The rooms were nice and modern, and the location is really beautiful. Down the road is Kinds Canyon itself which is stunning and one of the best natural attractions in the NT. The only let down were the restaurants. The food was terrible (and often simply not what it claimed to be on the menu), the service seemed... inexperienced, and...

Very nice area. The hotel is overpriced, but it is the only option near Kings Canyon. It has seen better days and does no longer satisfy the customer. The restaurant was ok but expensive for an average meal.

Dear CebuFitz Watarrka National Park - an incredible setting for our isolated resort located only 10kms from Kings Canyon itself ! I am sorry if we did not satisfy YOUR requirements during your stay , we are always happy to hear how we could improve on our unique hospitality in remote Central Australia. A motel style hotel with parking in front of the door. This is the middle of nowhere, so there is not much choice if one intends to visit Kings Canyon. Room with 2 large beds and a terrace. Difficult to cool the room in daytime. There is a bar, a restaurant and a shop opposite the hotel.

The spa rooms are great with an amazing outlook over rocky small cliffs. The view alone makes up for a small aging issues. Decor is a bit dated but clean and tidy. Sukin products were a nice touch. Nice pool area but a long ish walk from the spa rooms. Not surprisingly food is pretty expensive and limited but you...

This was a one night stopover as part of an AAT Kings tour to the Kings Canyon. As other reports have mentioned, this is a very welcoming, friendly resort situated in the deep outback convenient for access to the Kings canyon. The comfortable accommodation is spread over a range of single storey chalet type buildings which are well air conditioned...
