Simple room, basic amenities, stunning location, this was a stay that you'd expect in a remote place with not much competition for accommodation and nowhere else to really go for meals etc. A great experience nonetheless!!

This is a small lodge consisting of a main building where drinks and meals are served, and 10 permanent tents for accommodation. The tents are built up off the ground on a wooden floor and are spacious with separate private bathroom. The main building has a lovely verandah and outdoor bar. Dinner is served as a group, so you need...

This is called glamping, but never having done it before I didn't know what to expect! It was like half tent half building! The bedroom was good, and it had a nice spacious built on bathroom. Though it was basically a large fancy tent, it had everything you could need including heating and air conditioning. You are really in the...

Slightly overpriced for what it offered but as there was nothing else in the area, it was suitable. Air-conditioned as well as a tv in each room plus a communal kitchen and bathroom. Both where well maintained.

Regrettably, the weather during our 2 days here was so awful, the much anticipated dinners under the stars weren't possible, but everything else about the Lodge was perfect. The tent was very comfortable with heating (very much required during our stay) as well as a/c. Bathroom was well-appointed with nice & plentiful toiletries. Didn't take up the offer of bathrobes....

My wife and I just stayed at Kings Canyon Wilderness lodge and had a fantastic time. Tash and the staff were very warm, friendly and most attentive. We wanted a comfortable outback experience with modern facilities in the middle of nowhere and that's what we found. This place is head and shoulders above the Kings Canyon "resort" about 30km up...

The best part of the stay was the host Tash she accommodated all of our services queries, her very friendly helpful demeanour made you feel at home she was an outstanding part of the reason I would...

Booked at the Wilderness Lodge through Tourism Central Australia in Alice Springs where we received a substantial discount on the advertised rates. This included a lovely three course dinner under the stars and breakfast. We were greeted by Nicolous on arrival, given a cool drink and ushered to our tent. This was air conditioned with a beautiful ensuite (ours had...
