Arrived late on a Friday evening; reception staff really helpful and pointed all the hot spots and useful information straight on a map for us. Very clean hotel with fresh towels daily in the room. Shared facilies kept spotless and kitchen appeared well equipped although we did not use it personally. Quiet hotel and couldn't be in a better location...

I visit Sydney often (I am from there but now live interstate) which is always so costly. I am often searching for affordable accommodation so I can spend my hard earned money on enjoying my time there. I stayed with Siesta for 2 nights in January (still school holidays) and was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted by a very friendly...

Stayed two nights in a twin room. Clean facilities and was quite a quiet place. Most noise came from people closing their room door. Friendly helpful reception girls. Luggage storage. Book early to avoid disappointment. Close to transport and ten minute walk to darling harbour. Five minute walk to king street wharf and restaurants. Central air conditioning. Small corner store...

Very good wifi (better than most hotels I've stayed in), free with no password needed. Free washing machine and dryer (and powder). Excellent location close to Darling Harbour but still walkable to...

Cheap accommodation very close in the CBD. More like a hostel. We knew about the shared bathrooms, but the large lounge area on each floor and shared cooking/ fridge facilities were a surprise. There was also a laundry. Good WiFi. Shared TV. Good Airconditioning kept the place cool on a warm Sydney day. A great family type of atmosphere amongst...

Big, spacious rooms! Not much of a view but still nice to have big window there Was clearly and old office building but has been well decked out. No where to place dry/wet clothes in the showers and the lights in the male bathroom are on a sensor which occasionally turn off on you 😂😂 Nice hot water Clean kitchen...

Great location for accommodation. I stayed 10 nights with a large group, and we were able to travel everywhere on public transport - which was about two blocks away at Wynyard station. Each room was spacious enough for two people, with limited closet space; and the kitchen and recreation room were adequate for our group. Not enough power points in...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
