We had a bunk private room and it was fine! Was very quiet and huge fan kept it semi cool Location : under 5mins walk to paddy's market, central station. Yes it's dated but when in Sydney you need to be out doing things not staying in doors!

For the last leg of my trip, I have 1 night in Sydney so I decided to get a private room to have the liberty of organizing my stuff without worrying whether I'm waking up a roommate or something. The room was just basic but comfy. The shared bathroom /toilet was old and a bit leaky. The common areas are...

I stayed at this hostel for 2 months an loves it! The staff are all very friendly! Especially Henry! (Sorry nick, you was great too!) but sinèad (the entertainer) was amazing! It's Good value for money if you are a backpacker staying in the heart of sydney's central business district. Security is a main focus at Maze as you have to sign in with your key card to be let through to the dorms, kitchen etc. The kitchen facilities were one of the best I had experienced. A fair amount of...

Luckily, I've found out that the hostel offers lots of great and fun events, everyday (!) that helps you to know other awesome people. Besides that, the hostel's location is right in the middle of everything, close...

I had checked into Maze backpackers in March 17, my experience was quite wonderful there. Rooms were all spic n span & location of hostel is also prominent. There were also some fun events at the hostel organised by their Event Manager Miss Sinead Hill, which were quite fabulous. The lady took us to a Club near by Scary Canary...

We stayed in Maze backpackers for four nights while in Sydney. We had booked a six man dorm however we got a free upgrade to a twin room at check in which was lovely. The receptionists seem very friendly. Room and facilities are basic but good for what your paying for. Location was good, close to everything. Toilets were a...

Great value for private rooms. Good location with a 7eleven opposite. 15min walk straight down the street to the harbour, opera house etc. Room could have done with a lick of paint but otherwise fine. It is indeed a maze and there could be more signage for bathrooms. Pretty noisey at night due to bar with live music on the...

I booked a single room for 4 nights at this hostel around $50 per night. They provide free food and gathering event few times a week. You can easily find restaurants around as it's located in the city center. Thai town just one street away, which is awesome if you love Thai food. Train station and light rail stop are...
