Staff were incredibly attentive, rooms were lovely and well serviced, beautiful bathroom. Great location and champagne on arrival for our engagement was a nice touch! Valet service and buffet breakfast topped off the experience.

An excellent hotel, very positioned in close proximity to the city, The Rocks and Circular Quay. The rooms are very roomy and comfortable with great view of the city. We really enjoyed the hotel and would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Stay at Amora Hotel Sydney to be walking distance to the harbour , Opera House & Botanical Gardens and Museums. Walk downstairs to Wynard train station to take you to the North Shore or catch a ferry to Taronga Zoo & Manly. Relax and enjoy the spa & gym. Great harbour dining options . Sleep well after your walk back...

Great location. Friendly staff. Nicely appointed rooms and bathrooms. Always wish I could stay a little longer to enjoy all the amenities. A nice touch when we were leaving early to the airport was to receive a bottle of water for our journey.

quality hotel with excellent service and in a central position - rooms were clean with a good size bathroom (nice to have one you can turn around in) - bar items, chips, snacks, etc. very expensive suggest you buy elsewhere - my family enjoyed it and we will return.

The hotel room we stayed in is looking tired and in need of a refurb. Breakfast in the Gallery restaurant was average at best. Staff good. With all the building work oin George street access to the hotel is restricted by car or taxi adding extra time to get around. Common areras such as lifts need to be updated.

This hotel has great staff, is well maintained, modern décor and in a great central location. Our room was great and spotlessly clean with a fantastic modern bathroom also. Cannot fault anything about our stay last Saturday night. Will definitely be returning and recommending this hotel to others

I am glad I booked the hotel for our short stay in Sydney. It was a pleasant walk to the Opera House. The only things that need to be improved on: ironing board foam, and the hair dryer cord (too short!)

Our stay met expectation and the service exceeded it. Extremely helpful and polite Guest Services, housekeeping and Reception. Fantastic pool.Only two small considerations for management would be to have 'real' spoons in minibar instead of plastic. Also, maybe some discreet signage to make us aware of the short cut through office buildings to Wynyard Station. Thankyou for the great time.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
