My wife and I are older so we got the double private room after having an Air B&B host cancel us at the last moment. Having a TV, sink and refrigerator in the room adds to the versatility of the accommodation. The wifi was SLOW, do an OPTUS sim card for cheap reliable mobile internet and unlimited texting/calling @ $2...

Problems from the start - initially stayed in a dorm room. First dorm I was given was tiny and looked like a teenage bedroom with belongings strewn everywhere. There was virtually no clear floorspace and when I asked one of the girls where I could leave my bag (thinking she might clear some space), she shrugged and suggested on top...

We did not have a good experience at this hostel. Our airport pick up was included, however we were misinformed with how to properly make arrangements and we ended up having to wait about an hour for pick up. Once we arrived at the hostel we were greeted by friendly staff (most staff were helpful and kind.. the only positive...

Room was relatively clean. Showers were immaculate if showering in the morning, but always got pretty grim by the end of the evening (girls showers covered in hair and toilet paper!) But definitely good for a hostel. Never had to fight to find a free shower either. Lots of events on every night, perfect if you want to socialise. Also...

This hostel gave me the best time ever and I'd always come back. Great location as Kings Cross is close enough to the city but still a different suburb, good and clean facilities (no need to search for the laundrette, kitchen is cleaned twice a day) and the vibe is just amazing. I've met loads of lovely people and we...

I needed a place to stay for one night in Sydney before my plane home the next day. Honestly, this hostel was kind of crappy. I am the type of person to fully experience everything a hostel has to offer, and unfortunately one night was not enough to experience everything. However, from the time I was there, it was enough...

What a nice hostel! Staff was friendly and helpful. I wasn't as social as I'd planned with other hostel guests but still had a good time. Definitely recommend! Heads up that it's in the red light district!

Chose this for our stay at Sydney. Close proximity to the Kings Cross railway station makes it very accessible. Nice and clean place with lots of discounts on key tours and attractions. Don't forget to take a walk in the nearby market for that 'Oh so Sydney' feeling..

Best place to stay if your wanting to settle and work in Sydney! Greatest staff I've never met such enthusiastic helpful reception staff in all my travels. From check in to check out felt welcomed and home.

I was there with a friend who didn't like it, but I personnal liked the place. The dorm was clean, bed was comfy, room way too cold though, but I was able to grab 3 BLANKETS! Don't forget some sweaters just in case. Note that there are no bathroom on the main floor, you have to go on the 1st,...
