A great little place in a great location. Although not the newest place I've ever stayed in, it is clean and our room was fairly large with nice amenities. George is most accommodating along with his family. A very nice hot brekfast included. If I return to Sydney I would not hesitate to stay again!

I stayed for 6 nights in this very quiet and good value hotel a stone's throw from Sydney's Kings Cross. Family run it offers very good value accomodation minutes away from the night life and transport links of Kings Cross. George and his family are on hand to offer great advice. Breakfast is served in the attached Cafe and is...

Not 5 star luxury, but a clean and comfortable back street hotel at a good price. George runs both the hotel and the cafe beneath with a sense of humour. We would definitely use it again. Serviced daily, handy for city buses and trains, plenty of eating places nearby. Make sure you let him know in advance if arriving after...

This is the best small Hotel I have stayed it. The owner is lovely & so helpful. It's not 5 star so don't expect that but the service is! We have stayed her a couple of times & wouldn't stay anywhere else. The price is so reasonable, it's in a great area & the breakfast which is included in your...

Handily placed for Kings Cross station but half a street away from the bustle this B and B style accommodation was a bargain - with a complimentary breakfast (juice and a cooked plate) thrown in in the adjoining cafe (always packed with locals - a good sign). You'd be hard-pushed to find a better en-suite bargain within 15 miles I...

The window lacked s screen. So, it was necessary to run the AC continuously to keep the room from getting stuffy and too warm. The owner is a nice man and helpful. The WiFi is free and quite good. The complimentary breakfast was great! But... When I returned from my morning touristing I found that despite my leaving the Do...

Your few good comments have soured what followed. Smoking is prohibited in all parts of hotel and rooms cant stop people from having a drink. We are a family run business that has owned hotel 59 for 18 years. We do not have or use external staff. The owner you describe as "nice and helpful" is me and I am...

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for four nights just after the New Year. We were thoroughly impressed with the communication of the owner, George. Although we did not meet him until the last day (and when we did he was a very nice man and let us keep our luggage there for the day) he was very helpful. The...

Stayed here for two nights 13th and 14th November 2016, was late when we arrived, but our key was in a safe box outside the hotel, we just had to put a number in (was emailed to us by owner), room was clean, had tea coffee and toiletries. we hadn't been left any towels in the bathroom, but fortunately we...
