great location for all attractions in the city CBD. Bed was quite hard, air conditioner didn't work well, lucky it wasn't summer, no fan in bathroom. dinner was nice but breaky expensive $25 buffet even if you only had toast and coffee

Friendly staff, clean room and especially clean bathroom with great shower. Room seemed quite small but very comfortable. Very little noise so we had a good sleep. Central location as within walking distance to The Rocks, Opera House and Darling Harbour. Would stay there again.

This hotel is in a great location in the CBD. Ten minutes walk from the harbour the SOH, the harbour bridge and the Rocks. Also not far from the shopping area and Half an hour by train from the airport. The hotel is otherwise average like any other Travelodge. Service is friendly. The wifi is dreadful. Very slow unless you...

Excellent location close to Wynyard station and a short walk to the Opera house and the pub scene around the Rocks area. Service is OK, No real complaints but not overwhelmed either. The room is well enough appointed for the grade of hotel and I found the bed comfortable. Choose a high floor as there is a bit of traffic...

Useful location, friendly efficient staff, a bit of noise from trains arriving and departing from Wynyard station. Several lounge areas which were useful for waiting in when clients were late for meetings, and also served well as meeting locations.

We chose the travelodge due to the location and awesome groupon voucher deal, which was more than half price off. As mentioned earlier I loved their green apple toiletries and the breakfast was delicious. We could walk easily to Darling Harbour, Westfield, Queen Victoria building, the bridge, St. Mary's Cathedral & Royal Botanic Gardens which is a lovely way to...

Uncomfortable beds and pillows. We asked for different pillows but they said they were all the same. Cleaning not good. Hair on the floor. The cleaning lady was not changing the coffee spuns: she was just washing them with water ( they were still dirty). Extra charge for paying by credit card.

My experience at this hotel was really good! I enjoyed my stay. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were cleaned every day while we were out. I would definitely stay here again if I were to go to Sydney a second time.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
