Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.

We stayed here for two nights to attend a concert in Sydney. The location of the hotel to Pitt Street mall, to Circular Quay and to train stations and Hyde Park was excellent. The cafe next door serves fantastic breakfast. I have already booked my next trip!

Dear Keri L, I would like to thank you for taking time to share you review here on TripAdvisor. I was very sorry to see from your ratings that your last stay was not to your complete satisfaction, because of the noise in your room, which disturbed your stay, and the classic elegance of our interiors. As a heritage establishment, the decòr of our accommodations currently reflects the history of the Castlereagh, however I am pleased to inform you that some of our rooms been recently renovated in order to adapt them to modern travelers who visit our hotel not only for leisure, but also for business purpose. Should you chose to stay with us in the future, please do not hesitate to speak to our reservation department in regards to any preferences you may have as they will be very pleased to find the best room which suits your requests. Sincerely, Denis
