Well located on Castlereagh Street, near Market Street and George Street. Easy to get to shops and food. Old hotel, beautifully decorated in art deco style and room had antique-style furniture. Check-in and check-out were quick.

I didn’t even know this place existed and was open to the public. It is the Masonic Club Hotel but you don’t have to be a Mason. For the price we were expecting cheap, basic, simple accommodation but this place is special. It has been...More

Very comfortable room and bathroom, located close walk to everything in CBD. The building is beautiful, make sure you take a peek at the dining room - really grand. Breakfast was ok, basic continental on offer but I ordered cooked breakfast from the menu. The...More
This charming hotel is perfectly located in Central Sydney. It does feel a little tired but the staff are friendly and the rooms are fine for the price. Close to both transport and shopping. Would happily stay there again.

Firstly we would like to thank you for choosing the Castlereagh on your last visit to Sydney and for taking the time to share your feedback on TripAdvisor, although we read with very much regret that some aspects did not meet your expectations....More
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens
or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.

Unfortunatrly not but we have an arrangement with Secure Parking for $55 overnight. This is exceptional value in the Sydney CBD. Please let us know 1 hour prior to your arrival if you would like to book a space. 92841000.
