The city crown motel is an older motel but was perfect for our stay. It is an easy walk from central station. It is located near a great variety of food outlets. Our room was clean and in a very safe position. If you are used to first class then this probably isn't the motel for you but otherwise I...

This is a fairly basic motel in the centre of the Surry Hills vibe. Our room was small with basic facilities but clean and with a nice balcony connecting us with the lively neighbourhood. Close to Crown Street eateries, just off Oxford St and 10 minutes walk to the city centre, this is a great choice for those wanting to...

In Sydney for a conference needing 2 nights accommodation. I figured I wouldn't be in my hotel much so really just needed somewhere comfortable to sleep and a hot shower. Upon arrival I was handed a key and given some directions up some stairs to find my room - no offer to help with my suitcase and no lift. When...

Very friendly staff greeted us and they remained helpful throughout our stay. The Motel is being renovated but still functional. Our room was small but pleasant enough. Not the type of room you would lounge around in all day. Walls needed painting but the beds were comfortable and the room was air conditioned and quiet at night. Shower wasn't fab...

We checked in and found mosquitoes in the room. Reception promised to do something about it, but when we returned reception was closed and the mosquitoes were still there. We had to sleep under the sheets as it was too late to get alternative accommodation. Room was run down and in dire need of refurbishment

We stayed here for one night to attend a concert, perfect location as we could walk to stadium and to the many Cafes but that's where it ends, the reception area and hall ways were filthy there was 5 people sitting behind reception desk just eating when we walked in, the room was just filthy, dust so thick you could...

If I could rate zero stars I would. We paid $150 for a disgusting dump. No door on the toilet for a start. Sliding door to balcony dangling from one screw. Carpet covered in what looks like bodily fluid. Bathroom basin tap falling off. Absolutely gross. Owner gave me $50 back. Was too late in the afternoon to find somewhere...

What a grot. Cigarette smell throughout the reception area. Difficult to open sliding doors to cigarettes butts and ashtrays on the pokey dirty porches. Flush in toilet needs 4 to 5 flushes. Hardly refills with water. Filthy carpets in rooms . Windows not cleaned. Room cleaning often misses bins and no floor vacuuming. Towel rails fallen off bathroom walls. TV...

This hotel is in a good location, not far from CBD, 5-10 mins walk to Thai Town on Campbell Street. Interesting dining as it's also near Darlinghurst. The hotel provides you with a key in exchange of $50 deposit. They have their own parking behind the building for limited space, perhaps 8 cars. I stayed in room 19 where their...
