During December my company had a work party and I agreed stupidly to complete an office move the next day. Due to this I decided to look up some cheap accommodation and noticed Seasons Darling Harbour had rooms going for $100 a night on a last minute website. I arrived in the room quite late, so did not get to...

Stayed here for 3 nights in a one bedroom suite...the kitchen facilities are great along with the amazingly confmy bed. The bathroom is a little dated but over all fantastic stay for the money. Location you could.not ask for better.

On our first night the air conditioner didn't work and it was boiling hot. Everything in the room is dated from the 1980s clock radio to the dirty couch. Upon closer inspection we found broken electrical fittings, mould in the bathroom and vents clogged with dust. Don't stay here if you want four star accommodation.

I've stayed three nights in one bedroom apartment in January 2015. Excellent location, close to Darling Harbor, Chinatown and market. Easy to reach by public transport. Friendly and supporting front desk staff. One feature I was looking for was a pool. The weather was hot and I asked about it as soon as I arrived. However, the key to the...

If you look at the picture of this hotel from advertising, you would thing that you would be staying in a rather lush place. The picture is the front of another building and this hotel is a small doorway at the side. We stayed a week and had booked and paid from the UK. The aprtment was great in terms...

Stayed 1 night in a studio room with king bed. Very clean and comfortable and reasonably quiet. Had fridge and microwave. Shower good but bathroom a little dated with cabinet doors buckled from water overflow from sink. Needed replacing. Staff friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately no restaurant but cafes nearby for breakfast etc.. Situated over road from Chinatown and walking...

From the moment you enter the car park you will start to worry. The smell is repolcive and follows you up the elevator. The staff have a don't care attitude and then you enter your room. With mold, extremely loud air-conditioning and shower head that does not stay up - this place is horrible and not worth the money you...

We stayed here for 6 nights over Christmas The staff were wonderful and went out of there way to make our stay enjoyable by providing extra chairs for our Christmas dinner, DVD player to watch films and basically doing anything that we asked The rooms were large and clean and housekeeping came daily, it has an excellent central location The...

Stayed for five nights and enjoyed it. Had a room on the top floor and it was great. Yes, it is getting tired and dated, but it was clean and comfortable. There is an odour, but it is from outside, and yes, it smells like Chinatown. But there is nothing offensive about it. The location is great and well worth...

Pick somewhere else! The place was filthy! The bathroom had thick black mould and the whole hotel smelt like damp carpet etc. The staff were extremely rude. I would rather stay at a back packers than to have to stay at that hotel. Don't waste your money! go somewhere else.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
