6th floor room overlooking Liverpool St noisy due to traffic and pedestrian crossing. Small kitchen with one hob and sink with fridge yet no cooking implements (to be ordered via reception -- are you joking!) Hot water from room tank means limited supply - not enough for two showers after doing dishes. Shower cubicle dirty and mouldy - air con...

We booked a business-class suite with large balcony for 1 night before leaving Australia after a long trip. Check-in was very friendly, efficient and the room was as we booked - very spacious, a comfortable bed and all the advantages that came along. The location is perfect for walking to Darling Harbour, one of the best things Sydney has to...

This hotel is a great position close to Darling harbour and China town. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The pool/sauna /spa was excellent. The studio apartment we stayed in was a good size with surprisingly large bathroom. I would definitely stay there again.

Always enjoy my business trips to Sydney when staying here - very rare to find a Sydney CBD hotel that has balconies in most rooms. Staff on Reception and in breakfast restaurant are great and always remember your face as a return guest.

We were checked in by a younger man who was eager to help us with all our luggage (we had a lot) from around the corner as you can't park in front of the hotel. He took us up to our room with the luggage cart and was quick to switch out our cot (for our young son) as it...

I am on my business trip and decided to try out this hotel due to larger room. During the last day, unfortunately we discovered a cockroach and complained to front desk. According to a study at the Free University of Brussels in Belgium which revealed that groups of cockroaches make collective decisions about where to live. When one space was...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
