Totally enjoyed my experience. I use the Metro regularly for business trips. It is central, well priced and very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure. Also 2 minute walk from Town Hall Station makes it ideal if flying into Sydney, beats the taxi fare.

It was what I was expecting going off other reviews. Check in was a bit slow due to a few guests arriving at the same time. Other than that I could not have asked for much more from the one night booking. I would stay here again next time I'm in Sydney.

Near the Townhall Station and major shopping centres. Not that tiny room. They provide quiet and clean room. Also, the room has a hair dryer, an electronic coffe pot, shampoo/treatment, soap, body cleanser/lotion, even an iron. However, they do not provide slippers. If the hotel mentions about this, it would be helpful for tourists who need them.

Short stay but very convenient location as it was very close to the venue I was attending. Easy access to Darling Harbour and other office areas around Market Street. Hotel room was small but was sufficient for the overnight stay.

Clean hotel, courteous staff. Noisy building site across the road not highlighted at time of booking. Hot breakfast offered was inedible. Staff dealt with breakfast complaint very well. Located close to Chinatown district and Queen Victoria Building.

Dear petersam57 Thank you for your review. With Sydney at its peak development in some time, the location of the hotel occasionally means in business hours we are close to all the action of the city. As we are unable to know the schedule of work such as this, it would be difficult to highlight specifics in advance. I trust...

After reading about the many good comments on Tripadvisor, we were glad that the room we had were clean and away from the noise. Overall, it was a great experience. Metro hotel was near the train station and walking distance to almost everything, though we did not really walk much as it was a 38 degree day on the Saturday...
