The rooms were nothing like they were advertised. The bedroom was small and the bathroom looked worse than a backpackers bathroom. It was very old and disgusting and so tiny that a claustrophobic person would be unable to shower in it. A very old system which needs upgrade

For a hotel in the city it wasn't that great. I didn't really like the room I was staying in . It was a bit out dated. The shower was a bit off putting aswell. If you are looking for a cheap stay this is the place to go.

Our family of 3 stayed here recently and found it to be a very well located hotel. The lobby is a little shabby on each floor, but the rooms are clean and well presented. Some water pressure issues with the shower, but overall a comfortable stay in the heart of Sydney.

The room was quite a big room to move around the room. The Bed was really comfortable and lovely to sleep in. The artworks pictures on the walls were really beautiful to have a look at and also the purple on the beds made it a nice touch to the bed and the room. Great room over all.

The room was clean and the hotel is in a great spot. Close to the major city shopping centres.. Counter staff were very friendly. King size bed was very comfortable. Shower was a bit small but that's just the way the building is built.

Great location to go east or west in Sydney and the cost was affordable. Lovely staff. Comfy bed for sure. Handy to shop on Pitt St or visit Town Hall etc. Right on Hyde Park for Syd Herald Half Marathon.

Great location - terrible noise. Room small, pokey and tired. Worst sleep imaginable. Great views from pool deck. All in all I would never stay here again. Plenty of other places in Sydney which are better overall

The hotel is as central as you can get in Sydney CBD. Easy walking distance to everywhere. But the hotel is not well maintained. Although the rooms are clean (thanks to the cleaning staff), the rooms are not well maintained. There is a hole in the bathroom door, water pressure at the shower head is weak, I was hit twice...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
