Overall we had a pleasant stay. The lady who checked us in did not seem impressed when we were asking a questions about parking. They over charged me for some breakfasts and this took almost a month to rectify. I had to do all of the calling and chasing up over their mistake. No communication at all about receiving emails...

Lobby & bar nice & check in staff lovely. Free room upgrade, although we paid a premium as was a last minute booking so not really free. Room was basic and needs a reno, only real positive was the fabulous view. My husband and I get 1 day a year away from our kids to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Checked...

We flew to Sydney to attend a wedding. This is our first stay in the Novotel Sydney Darling Harbour. We chose this hotel as we would like to be near to the casino. We usually stay in The Star when we visit Sydney which unfortunately for us was fully booked this time. The Novotel came highly recommended. The location was...

If I am seeing a show in the city, I prefer to stay at the Novotel Darling Harbour. You can take a five minute walk and catch a ferry to Circular Quay, as we did to go to the Opera House. Other times we catch the light rail if we are going to the Capitol Theatre or Lyric Theatre. I...

It's ok.. Very clinical. A little tired. Pillows worst I have experienced in a long time and I travel a lot. View awful unless you pay additional for water view. I faced a block of crappy flats. Otherwise just ok

I stayed here on business, and the hotel was everything you'd expect from this chain. The room is a good size, the location in Darling Harbour is great for both business and pleasure, and the view is great. I'd stay here again.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
