Our room overlooked Hyde park and was spacious and spotlessly clean , with museum station across the road my 81 year old mum was able to easily get around thanks to the new lifts. Even for mum location is easy walking to QVictoia building and city. And with the kitchenette and breakfast basics we had lovely relaxing mornings. Would definitely...

The location of this hotel is great, very handy to walk to most of the Sydney attractions such as Darling Harbour, Opera House, Art Galley, Botanical Gardens, Chinatown and many more. Close to hundreds of restaurants and pubs. The Museum train station is just across the road, and the trip from the Museum station to the airport is only 20...

Great rooms with lots of space and kitchenette area. We were lucky enough to be staying in a room with a balcony that overlooked the park. Location is ideal for exploring Sydney, close to lots of shops and restaurants and the museum train station. You can walk to the harbours, however it was so hot during our visit that the...

This hotel has everything you need. The location is perfect for shopping and walking down to Harbourside , Hyde Park is literally across the road where they have the Reflection Pool and war memorial. This hotel gives great service and the breakfast is just what you need for a continental breakie. Will definitely stay here again.

Arriving at the hotel we were told that we'd only paid for 1 of our 3 nights and the 2 nights stay were a lot higher price than we paid for the 1st night, not a good start! Then they take your car keys off you, no idea why?? It can't be for security reasons because it's parked under ground...

The hotel is a stones throw from Museum subway station. It overlooks the ANZAC memorial in Hyde Park. It is an easy 30 minute walk through the beautiful gardens down to the Opera House and Darling Harbour. Breakfast is already in your room and is replenished through the day. Lots of tea and coffee. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for two nights and found all the facilities to be great. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. The breakfast was basic but was enough to get your day started. The location was great with nearly everything we wanted to do within walking distance and easy access to train stations. Having Hyde Park across the road was...

We stayed in a Deluxe Studio and it was surprisingly of very low quality. Very defficient cleanliness of the room and windows. The general status of furniture was very used and old. The breakfast included 4 leafs of bread and cheap unidose of orange juice and preserved fruit. Location very convenient to visit the city as it is in a...

This hotel would have been a great find if it hadn't been for the terrible (and unnecessary) state of the room. I don't think housekeeping had moved a bed or dusted anything that looked remotely difficult in ages! Bed linen and towels were good and front of house staff helpful. The park opposite had plenty going on and anything else...

Hotel facilities are fine. Clean and quiet. Central to everything. But... Parking is rather awkward, we have a 4x4 and to get in and out of their Carpark is the hardest thing ever. Very narrow and no room to make maneuvers. Also, their "continental" breakfast consists of gladwraped slices of bread in the fridge, a few spreads and 4 types...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
