this hotel was very basic, it was quite disappointing. It was in a great location, the rooms were a bit tired. They could have done with a lick of paint & also to remove rust from bathroom doors. we stayed in another Ibis hotel & this one was well below the standard of the other in Brisbane

Certainly not what I expected, very disappointed, very old and very daggy and looks nothing like the pictures on the internet. The reception staff were helpful and nice and breakfast was OK, but nothing to rave about. I think it was very over priced for the state of the place, but your in the heart of the city.

I am disappointed that I feel the need to write a negative response. I have stayed in this hotel several times and there is usually something annoying happening. I recently stayed through work and whilst there thought I would pay for accommadation I had previously booked through Accor. I had booked 2 rooms using a complimentry night voucher and paying...

This hotel is centrally located to most of the key areas in Sydney. The Central Station, Darling Harbour and the Opera House are all within walking distances. We actually enjoyed exploring Sydney by foot and this hotel was an excellent springboard for this. Despite being very busy we found the reception staff always friendly and full of information. There are...

Nice basic room with everything you need. The size is not enormous but good enough for a couple of days stay. Coffee and tea facilities are present and refreshed daily. There is a fridge. The bed is very comfortable. As previous reviews state the room is a bit noisy but luckily we weren't disturbed by our neighbours. The staff were...

I stayed one night on a terrific deal through Wotif. Great basic, modern, clean room. The room and quality was very similar to an Ibis I have stayed at in London / Heathrow. Good comfortable bed, and good bathroom / shower. Great location, not far from Museum train station (on the Airport line), and close enough to walk to the...

My husband and I stayed here in a standard queen room, on a room only basis and it was ideal for us... Room was basic but perfectly clean, staff were friendly and helpful. A great location to take in the sights of Sydney and close to lots of nice restaurants. I would definitely stay here again...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
