If you want something right next to the ferries and the Rock this is the one. We spent a week here with a harbour./city view room that was huge and very comfortable with great service. The rooms are a bit in need of TLC now but I guess we are pretty fussy. Being able to go anywhere on the ferries...

Can't beat the local adjacent to The Rocks and Circular Quay. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. The room was nice. He had a partial view of Opera House and Harbor which we enjoyed.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of our perception of how we were treated when we arrived. We were a group of 9 30-somethings, having just gotten off a GBR dive live aboard + flight from Cairns and weighed down with big backpacks. Granted, not the "usual" Four Seasons guest, but we all felt that...

Had booked this hotel for three days before a cruise. BA managed however to delay the flight from London with 2 days so we stayed at the hotel for only one night. The hotel is in walking distance from the cruise terminal, but the hotel offered a free transport to the cruise ship.

Check-in was quick and efficient. Great room housekeeping with functional facilities. The concierge services were good and gave useful information. All staff are friendly and will definitely return. Could improve by providing USB charger points at the bedside table area for mobile devices.

A timeless 5 start hotel in a great central location. The hotel decor is now a bit dated but still in good condition. The staff are superb and nothing is to much trouble, guests are aprecoated here. Very comfortable rooms and beds. Cost of an upgrade to a corner room get you a large oversized room, well worth the money.

The staff were very professional and welcoming. The views were spectacular and the location is perfect. I would recommend this hotel for leisure or business, pay the extra and get a harbour view room!

We took our brand new car on our trip to the city, knowing it would be safely valet parked? When our car was returned it was absolutely filthy and the duco has been damaged as a result of what ever was dripping on it? The hotel will accept no responsibility at all even though they where advised accordingly!

A beautiful an luxurious hotel with wonderful service. Our room was amazing with a spectacular view of the Opera House and Circular Quay. The valet parking was convenient along with the location. If you want to stay at a hotel to remember, then this is it. True! My partner and I did not want to leave.

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
