The service couldn't have been better, the breakfast was amazing, the bed was sooooo comfy, the room ,well,a little tired but when I opened the curtains and saw the Opera House ,awesome !!!...

Besides the great service at the Four Seasons, we had a fantastic room with a million dollar view -- a corner room with a view of both the Harbour Bridge and the opera house on a high floor. A junior suite, Room 2601 and it was fantastic! We had Club access as well and really enjoyed the Club floor. We...

I often stay at the Four Seasons and one thing that never changes is the quality of the accomodation and the service. A new online app to check in is a great addition which makes your check in process even easier. Ask for a Harbour View Room.

The rooms are nice and quiet. They aren't the most modern, but of a reasonably high standard and well maintained. The in house restaurant Pei Modern was surprisingly good. The wait staff are very professional and the food was excellent. Best of all is the gym, which is very well equipped for a hotel gym.

This was the perfect start to a wonderful dream come true vacation. The location could not have been better. We were right in the middle of all the happenings. The view from our window was breath taking. We could see the opera house and the bridge and our cruise ship docked at the terminal. Service was prompt, efficient and very...

This hotel offers great service and is in a fantastic location. Circular Quay is just on your doorstep and it is a short walk away from Pitt Street Mall. All of the staff I encountered during my short stay, were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms are rather tired and the property itself could use a refurb, bathrooms are...

I have stayed at the esteemed Park Hyatt, which is generally considered top hotel in Sydney by international travelers. I have nothing to say about that property here, but would like to put in a vote for the Four Seasons as the superior property. First off, the location on George Street is more convenient than the Park Hyatt. It is...

Nice and clean, great view from our room. Nice and walkable to opera house and nearby cafes. We were fortunate to be kindly upgraded to a room with a view- as it was our honeymoon. They also brought us complimentary champaign!

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
