Congratulations to the new owners for a much-needed restoration in keeping with Frisco's naval heritage. I disagree with an earlier review and can see a lot of thought was put into the use of space and the broad and 'tricky' demographic to maintain the appeal and affordability for the loyal locals as well as broadening the appeal to a more...

Been going here for years, previously a hidden gem of the area. downstairs bar still seems a fairly mixed and unpretentious and inviting, pool tables inside and great tables and chairs on the footpath, though the decor inside has started to take a turn for the worst, twee shabby chic pseudo-sailor look has been installed over the more authentic sailor...

Great Aussie pub in the heart of Woolloomooloo, great location - walking distance to the Botanical Gardens, Art Gallery and the CBD. Very friendly and helpful staff, fantastic food with specials on different days of the week and happy hours. There are rooms upstairs, which are basic but adequate and great value for money. Highly recommend!

The pub is next to our hotel and very convenient. The happy hour offers 5 dollar pints. There is pub food too which we didnt try. Good atmosphere. I can recommend to go for a beer and meet the locals. If you look for a tourist magnet head elsewhere.

Our group couldn't fault the food or the service. Thank you Adam and the lovely girl who looked after us. We will be back! Perfect spot upstairs on the verandah for a large group. Easy walk from the Botanic gardens.

Friends visiting from QLD stayed at The Frisco for three nights as it was close to where I live. We all had a lovely late lunch on the balcony upstairs. The north facing sun & views over the city were great. Meals were delicious & very moderately priced. I also checked out the rooms, clean & comfortable with shared bathrooms....

I live in the area and have never made it into the pub so I decided to check it out one Sunday arvo. The food was appalling! For a burger and fries I don't know his you can get it wrong but out of the three of us only one could finish their meal.... Looks like a small pub from...

Looks a little off putting from downstairs but a casual diner with excellent staff and food at woolomoloo. We ate twice in the evening as very local to our hotel. I had king prawns with tomatoes, garlic and garlic bread, partner had steak cooked to perfection and excellent bottle sauvignon price 20 aud each, starter pizz to share. Lovely efficient...
