My wife and I stayed at Cabin 7 - called Cedar Lodge for our wedding anniversary. The stay was just great. The cabin was spotless and the décor was romantic. We went for a walk along the Blue Gum Loop and saw old growth forest and enormous cedar trees and we played Tennis. The linen is all new and there... More

We had a great weekend stay at cottage 8, Tranquil Lyrebird Cottage. The cottage is very well equipped, with everything (and more) you need for your stay. I can absolutely recommend staying here. We booked the cottage directly from the owner.

Had a fantastic mid week stay. The cabin was clean and well presented, perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed walking the Blue Gum loop and even managed a quick hit on the tennis court. All the wildlife came and visited us in the afternoon and it was wonderful to relax on the balcony and take it all in.

Great weekend escape, we stayed in Cabin No 7 Cedar Lodge which was well presented, clean and spacious, our daughter loved the loft bedroom which she had to herself, we loved the peace and quiet. Unfortunately the weather wasn't kind to us but the plus was the relaxation forced upon us, sitting on the deck watching and listening to the... More

Not far from civilisation but far enough via a beautiful country drive to this wilderness haven that seems like a million miles away.20 dual self contained cottages tucked away in the forest bordering Barrington National Park with stunning views to the 'tops'. This relaxing getaway is more the sit back and 'take it in' holiday rather than an adventure trip,... More

I stayed here with my partner and two friends visiting from Melbourne. We were in cabin 9. I was a little hesitant based on some prior reviews on here, but my concerns were unfounded. The place is awesome, beautiful, relaxing and extremely good value for money. Maybe the previous reviewers need to be prepared to leave some city pretentiousness behind.... More

I was originally wanting to stay in the old guest house, till I learned it burnt down,so found this, which provided all I wanted anyway. I was the only one there( in cedar lodge,no 7), apart from the manager, and the weather was great. The lodge was as advertised, and the only thing you need to bring is food, and milk. I loved the attic... More

Stayed for two nights in Oct.with friends from Germany. Facilities are old & could be better maintained. Each two bedroom cottage is owned by various owners & managed as a group by a live in caretaker who was very friendly and helpful. Good basic place to stay to enjoy the Barrington's many walking trails. There was a new BBQ by... More

Such a nice location but the log style cabins are in bad need of maintenance and the stairs are dangerously slippery and totally covered on leaves. It looks like they haven't been swept for years. Caretaker is not tourist friendly and we would never go there again. Such a shame as with the right management it could be so great
