The staff wasn't as friendly as I would have hoped but otherwise it was a nice, clean and quiet hostel. Close to the shopping centre and atrractions. The kitchen was alright but many of the gas stoves didn't work. Sauna and spa were a plus.

Stayed here overnight as I was going to the cricket international at Manuka oval. Clean and friendly. Close to many bars and shopping areas in Canberra. Close to the bus station for the cricket. Parking was an issue had to park a fair way away.

Canberra is a town which is nice to where there, but it's not really necessary to go there ... The hostel is one of the "bigger" YHA's with all the pro's and con's ... (there are clean areas and some areas are not so clean, etc. - all kind which happens if you have a big YHA/hostel) In general the...

Just as another YHA, a good place to stay. Met a lot of great people in this hostel which made it totally worth the stay. Hostel itself is fine, clean and it has great places to sit and chill, there are even good tvs and a big roof terras where you can also use the barbecue. Has a big kitchen...

Like most YHA hostels, this place was conveniently located, clean and comfortable enough. Staff were helpful and parking was nearby. School groups do stay here, however, and can be noisy in the evenings (though not after 10pm).

We arrived at the hostel at around 4 am and although there was a guy at the reception, we were not aloud to check in. After some negotiations, we were given a room. Other then that, the hostel itself is really nice and comfortable. The kitchen was clean, rooms too, and free tea was avalable.

I've stayed at quite a few YHAs, and I usually like the experience. With this YHA, its saving grace were the lovely people I met whilst I was there. None of the showers are not consistently hot, and the standard of bathroom differs drastically from floor to floor. Level 3 (women's) is old and worn, whilst level 2 is newly...

Dorms are huge with plenty of room! There's a cool cafe and pub next door . And to top it all off there's even a pool and sauna in the...

we were in a room very dirty, the breakfast is not included and we didn't like the general presentation of the hostel very much. the wifi was not included too and it is a nonsense because it should be an hostel for backpackers and you should have a free wifi at least.
