This newly renovated and well maintained hotel is in a great location and offers a stylish place to stay for a range of purposes. Some great communal spaces, including the reception area. The courtyards offer relaxing places to have a rest, a drink or a chat. The hotel seems to have a range of conference and reception facilities.

We love the history of this hotel and admire the way it has been faithfully restored in Art Deco style. It is convenient to the galleries and other places of interest. Parking is a problem and it may not be possible to park on site all the time even with a $15 parking fee.

Wonderful venue close to many tourist sites and restaurants and shops. The staff are friendly and efficient. The terrace room was large and comfortable and it was very pleasant to sit outside and enjoy a quiet glass of wine. Parking is a problem and the green clean means bed made only.

Ripped off by this hotel - Yet again. Had to pay $109 more per night for the same night than my mother did who rang that afternoon. No customer loyalty for someone that stays here with great regularity....

This is a beautiful hotel, full of history. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. Little touches like USB port charging and radio were appreciated, as well as WiFi (although very slow) included in our rate. We were disappointed that room service breakfast was not offered and that when having breakfast in the restaurant, the service was very slow (40...

A beautiful hotel, with quirky retro deco, a peaceful atmosphere and lovely low key staff. This hotel is also in a great neighbourhood for walking and only minutes from the Manuka cafe Mecca (Mecca being relative here since it pales when compared with hotspots in the more populous states!). I really could not fault this place.

Rooms are modern and the bathrooms updated! There are no draws to put clothes and the bed covering was strange with the cover over the donna ext Having to pay $15 for parking was a bet much! The small gym area was good!

Close to many important tourist locations, and genuine in it's history and decor. The staff are friendly, competent and patient with the tired frazzled tourist :-) At least our room had shutters that had large spiders, so perhaps the arachnophobe should be elsewhere. Customers need to 'fix' the shower stall by aiming the nozzle of the shower head away from...

We upgraded to a terrace room which was lovely as we enjoyed sitting outside with good coffee and papers. Pod coffee machines are in the rooms so the coffee was good! Hated the feather pillows and couldn't get comfortable because of them but it's my personal hate and e ones they supplied were very good quality. Bed was very comfy....
