There are few places in the world that are perfect in every way. I have spent nearly four years travelling the world at different times and found at Yucatan Mayan Retreat a feeling of peace that is rare in our busy world. I stayed at first two nights to see the sites of Chichen Itza and then later came back...

What a great place! I stayed in the Mayan Suite, which was great, but didn't realize that I could rent a tent, already set up, with linens and an inflatable mattress! Definitely would have done that. The outdoor shower and bathroom is excellent, but most of all, the hosts are amazing. Wonderful just to sit around and shoot the breeze....

I would highly recommend to stay here if you are in the area. We stayed in the suite and everything was perfect! The location is a little far from Chichen Itza, about 15 minutes by car but we never have a problem with transportation. Jorge the owner can drive you anywhere you want for about the same rate as a...

You can stay in the deluxe Suite, a slightly more modest, traditional type room, or in a tent with more comforts than you ever thought possible...

A few friends and I headed down for a quick getaway in the Mayan Riviera, A fella at the travel agency Recommended this place to us based on some info he'd received from a Canadian couple a few months ago. We had asked for a quiet, out of the way place, that was out in the open and far away...

Yes, we wanted to get away from the big hotels and tour groups, a friend recommended this place and it was lovely! The owner, Jorge is a great guy, knows everything around, took us to all the places - even the ones that only the locals know about. We stayed at the suite, beautiful, clean, but there were also some...
