This was a wonderful inn tucked away in the Scottish Highlands. We went there as part of our Trafalgar tour. We had a delicious dinner! Full hot breakfast served! Spectacular view from our window! The grounds were beautiful as well.

On paper, this hotel looks "average" at best, however the staff, the views, the food and the character of the place made it one of the most memorable hotels on our tour. I usually judge a hotel firstly on the bed and shower. In this hotel, they were having water pressure issues, so the shower was not great. However, this...

The very friendly , welcoming staff and fantastic scenery make this a special hotel. We were driving a long way home and decided to split our journey if we could find a nice hotel. Happened across the Laggan and went in for a drink initially. Very friendly Carly(?) at reception who welcomed us in, served our drinks and we sat...

An unusual hotel, owned by a bus tour company. My first night was with a bus load, the second I was the only one for dinner (two of us for breakfast). Great views of the mountains, still with snow on the tops mid May. Very efficient, one time for dinner, so that the pleasant receptionist /manager becomes the head waiter,...

An enjoyable one night stay with friendly staff, great food too, both at breakfast and dinner. The location is lovely with fantastic views. Carly was great, so helpful and kind. I hope to stay again sometime.

Isolated hotel with beautiful scenery all around. The staff was friendly and attentive. Great fireplace with antiques all around. A wonderful dinner was served and a great English breakfast. This is the kind of place that really makes a trip worthwhile.

Pastoral setting in the central highlands, surrounded by grazing land for sheep and furry cows, snowy peaks in the distance. You can forgive some of the shortcomings when you consider the remoteness of the location and the limited season they have to work with. Improvements to the property are being made during the off-season. Hopefully some of those will include...

The location was stunning, I was alone in the hotel due to be early in the Season and a Tuesday. The room 18 was very spacious and the bed very big even for a 6.4 person. That I was the only guest it didn't stop the staff doing their job very well to make you at home. Had a lovely...

I was trying to arrange a touring trip for 3 couples and wanted 3 rooms for 2 nights in July. The Hotel website clearly states 'Due to high occupancies during high season (May – September) reservations are essential' so I completed their on-line enquiry form and sent it off. After a few days I hadn't had a reply so I...

The hotel is dated but adequate. The floor boards creak when walking around the upper floor, but not too annoyingly. It was quite cold outside when we were there, but nice and cosy throughout the hotel. The hotel was under new management at the time and were a little tired from the previous touring groups stay. The staff were very...
