Just what's needed on a (rainy or otherwise) Sunday. Lovely pub. Good cider off the wood. Excellent carvery. Helpful and friendly staff and very good value. Will definitely go there again. (But why oh why does stoopid TripAdvisor insist on long-winded reviews?????)

Very disappointed.... been here several times but not for a while.. sausages are now really cheap and nasty. Most of it was cold. Meat was fatty and gravy was like dish water.
