Nestled in a tranquil and remote setting, Vanaashrya Resort and Spa Sariska garners praise for its well-maintained swimming pool, comfortable pet-friendly environment, and the serenity added by the surrounding wildlife. Guests consistently commend the spacious and aesthetically pleasing rooms, though a few have raised concerns about cleanliness.
While many appreciate the attentive service, there is a sentiment that the hotel, particularly its beverages, may be overpriced. Despite this, the overall atmosphere and amenities contribute to a delightful and peaceful stay.

Detailed Reviews
We initially planned for 2 nights with 2 more families but extended our stay as it was a great, peaceful, nice and quiet location with excellent hospitality at an affordable price. The food was highly fresh, hygienic, lots of variety and awesome taste. The staff was quite helpful, very cooperative, never tired of meeting your additional demands at any time. One of owner Mr. Amit came in person from Jaipur to visit when there was good rush and advised us of many unknown and wonderful attractions of walking/running and scenic and rustic village routes and temples, Bhangarh Fort, Jahaj, dam, etc. They also made sure of all precautions during the COVID pandemic.
We really enjoyed our outing, made it memorable during this time at Vanaashrya.

Beautiful rustic resort in the middle of nowhere. A slight turn from the main highway gets you to there .It has many cottages and a few tents. The interiors of the rooms are straight lined and simple with all the facilities one can think of . The restaurant has a huge menu and the chef goes to great length to accommodate your taste . The staff is very friendly and helpful - especially Mr Raj Rawat & Mahendra Singh . We were in a large group of over 60 people and never once we hoped for anything . But wish they maintained their landscaping which could make it more beautiful .

The best thing about the stay was the staff and the ambience. Initially we were skeptical about the location as it is midway in the forest, but that turned out to be the beauty of the place. The staff was accommodating and cared for us in every aspect during the covid times. They made sure we felt safe and comfortable. Me and my friends were alone at the place due to covid but it felt like home and super safe. The staff did every possible thing to make it a dreamy stay for us by organising dinner at a beautiful location despite the fact that we didn’t even ask for it, they also got us some personalised food items, deducted the price for petty things, not being money minded and they also packed a lil joy of box once we left from there so that we don’t feel hungry while we reach home. It’s the best place for one to spend some quality time with there family and friends. Absolutely loved it.

The hotel rooms are based on traditional Tents, and part of the same group of hotels we stayed at in Agra. Although starkly different.
The hotel is very secluded, and not near many other buildings/ towns. Each room is like its own villa, with a bed, dressing area, desk, fridge, and bathroom. There are fabric drapes on the ceilings throughout the bedroom, dressing area and bathroom. At first I thought it was quite charming, but when I realised lizards were shielding from the sun inside the fabric on the roof, I couldn’t rest properly in the room.
The bathroom consisted of a standing shower, vanity, and toilet with jet. *This hotel provided you with toiletries for your stay- shampoo, conditioner, soap, body lotion, shower cap, slippers etc (something to bear in mind to cut down on things you bring)
Due to it’s location and the heat at the time we went, there were frequent power cuts due to everyone needing the air con on full. It was 47 ‘c when we stayed!
There was building work happening when we stayed, so the spa was out of action, and the pool was dirty and dusty with some building debris. There were also no parasols, so it was hard to find shade from the sun. So, we didn’t use it.
The staff were very friendly, and the hotel was clean and modern.
The dining area was a buffet style, and a smaller choice than some of the other hotels we stayed at, but that is due to the smaller amount of rooms. A good choice of good, and the staff were happy to help with any information you needed. *No diet drink options*
I am happy we only stayed 1 night here, due to the heat, tent fabric and lack of facilities. I think once the works are completed, it will be a lovely hotel. Just not for me.

Regarding the renovation of the hotel it is day time only keeping in mind no disturbance in the night. Regarding pool dirty management has taken corrective actions not to repeat again in future. We stayed here as part of a tour package.
The hotel itself was a lovely experience, including the room, but it was quite marred by our experience with the bar.
The property is lovely and in a very quiet and peaceful location.
The room was fabulous; yes it is a little rough round the edges in places if you look hard but this added to the charm and we loved it; it was huge too! The aircon worked really well, although given the rural location there were a few power cuts but these were short lived.
There were two pairs of men’s flip flops/sliders in our room on the chest in the bathroom which were quite dirty and used; we were unclear whether this was intentional or had been left by a previous guest…
Otherwise; the cleanliness was fine.
The pool area is nice but the pool needs draining and a good clean as there is a lot of green algae on the walls and floor.
The food was absolutely lovely and the service was really good.
Others in reviews have mentioned the drink prices. We had no issue with the pricing of soft drinks and these were fine, but we had a really disappointing experience when ordering wine.
You can buy by the glass for 600INR (before tax) but the size is ridiculous and I’m sure would not even be a 125ml at home.
We asked to buy a bottle instead and were told that to do so would cost the equivalent of £100 gbp! We challenged this as it didn’t even make sense when we were told how many glasses they believed were in the bottle and still would not have amounted to such an extortionate price. The barman would not budge and said this was correct; two phone calls were made to management and still said the same, then on a third phone call we were told they would now not sell us a bottle and would only sell by the glass!
Several of our tour group were present and also were disgusted with this when trying to purchase.
This was raised by another of our group with our tour guide who then came to tell us there had been a ‘mistake’ and that the hotel were not charging us the ‘menu’ price they should have been and that the bottle could now be purchased for 4200INR - 5800 less than earlier!
However we felt this was very much not a mistake given the three earlier phone calls from the bar to management and the fact they then went on to refuse to sell by the bottle at all and that this was only rectified when the tour guide was made aware and intervened. It seemed to us a flagrant attempt to charge us as much money as possible given it should be a captive market given the quite remote location, however a local chap my husband met outside the hotel gates was lovely and took him to a local ‘shop’ to purchase where we got a bottle of the exact same wine for 1800 INR (ride was a great experience!).
We also had another rooms drink bill attached to our receipts at check out so worth double checking on paying up.
This unfortunately overshadowed the rest of what would have been a really nice experience otherwise.

Vanaashrya was a pleasant surprise. We were a bit circumspect when we booked the place only because a previous review had mentioned that there is construction going on at the resort which could spoil the experience. However, when I spoke to the manager Virendra on the phone he said that it was at a bare minimum and wouldn’t cause disturbance to residents. He was absolutely honest and right through our stay there was no disturbance. Infact construction work was almost zero when we were there. The place has a very ‘close to nature’ feel to it. You wake up in the morning to the chirping of birds and there are several of them. There is peace and quiet and many nice spots where you can sit and sun bathe or just chill out. The staff are extremely warm and welcoming and will go out of their way to help you. The food is great. I kept wondering right through our stay how they managed to make it so tasty. When we were checking out one of the kitchen staff told us that they have a farm in the property and all the vegetables are sourced from there. That explains the freshness and great flavour of the food. The hospitality is great. There’s also nice entertainment in the evenings with Rajasthani folk singers playing traditional music. They are a really talented bunch and not ordinary musicians. Virendra was very helpful and accommodative right through our stay making sure we were always comfortable and always got what we requested. Left Vanaashrya with a great feeling and will definitely come back.

It's a good resort, near the Sariska Dhela Gate (around 5 kms from the resort). Not a 5 star property (atleast at the moment). Book it directly with the resort's reservation team for the best price. Not many resorts near the Dhela gate and this one is definitely worth it.
Mass construction going at the moment, which could be annoying to some people, (especially if you have high expectations in terms of maintenance) but the staff would try to accommodate your requests to make your stay comfortable.
It's a big resort, with not well maintained central park. They do have cycling/some indoor/board games.
Rooms are big, have AC with heater facility (if AC heating mode is not working, they will provide heater in the room).
The food was good/average at times, (it's a mix) but their service is amazing, the staff is super co-operative and will help you out as far as possible.
You can drive into the Sariska forest to visit Hanuman temple (around 20 Kms from the gate) on Tue/Sat (340 INR per car fees) but it's bumpy road across the forest.
Take Safari directly from the Dhela Gate, cost around 5K for 6pax/per Jeep, they do have limited Jeeps available, so reach there by 1:30 pm for afternoon Safari.
Overall, I would recommend this resort and look forward to my next stay :-).

This was my second trip to Sariska after many years of gap.
I selected this place due to its overall appeal over internet.
I would be honest, this place has got a huge potential and staff eg. Mr. Phool Singh try their best to make you feel comfortable but alas a lot is missing.
Approach road (last 18kms) is almost bone breaking but excused as we were finally approaching a forest.
Reception is average and even the walking paths internally are not kept well.
Worst blot is the central courtyard which at some point was a pond and from the last almost 4 years is like a barren piece of land, owners did not even take basic initiative to convert it into a beautiful well paved garden.
Rooms are basic, no TV, no Wifi, no proper almirah ( just a luggage desk). To my surprise for a so called five star property, no room service and even hote water comes at two times in a day. Airconditioner which has never been serviced makes noise almost like a generator.
Makes you feel like you have come back to stay in hostel Life.
During our stay their was construction going on with stary dogs moving inside premises, all this shows how careless the management and owners are about the overall approach.
Food is basic but palatable, Yes the evening with bon fire, drinks and rajasthani music is a welcome addition.
Place is quite close to gate number 2 of Sariska Tiger Reserve.
I have stayed at other Jungle resorts around the country which are five star category, which are almost at stone throw point with in forest, this place is no way even near to them.
I am still giving them 3 stars instead of two, because of welcoming and helpfull staff along with surroundings of nature which makes it livable.
I strongly suggest owners to undertake a complete renovation of this property and run it more professionally. It has got huge potential.
Wish them best of luck and wisdom.

Regarding the TV, it is jungle property designed in such a way not to disturb any wild life. Construction is part of upgradation and it happened in day time only. There is no construction and even noise at night time keeping in mind to provide maximum comfort level and relaxation. As far as food is concerned management has taken in to account to improve and to provide the best food during the guest stay. If you are planning for safari in Sariska, this is not the property you should choose as it is 2 hours drive from Sariska gate. Tehla gate is nearby but not worth the safari. Property charges you exorbitant rate which is not worth the stay and food. Manager at reception will say No for everything you ask and tough to manage property. They do not provide starters or any thing to eat in the room
Tents are basic and their bathroom is too messy. We have had stayed in various tented properties but this was worst amongst all. Breakfast spread is minimal and they will ask for charge for anything you order. It is mostly packed on weekends because of Delhi NCR crowd who come with families for outing and ready to burn their pocket. Not recommended

Gone here on a family break just after Diwali 2020 ... was actually planning to book something else and when came across with this place couldn’t resist booking and experience it, as lot people people rated really high. So we have booked 3 cottages and decision was not wrong, place is secluded and beautiful. Rooms where nice big with outside seating space where walls are made out of concrete but top part is like tent shape, room equipped with all basic amenities.
All cottages are separate from each other , place is spread in around 12acres so lot space to walk around inside and also if you like to go for small hiking you can go outside.
Food is good with decent varieties and evening time they have Rajasthan cultural program, apart from that they have few cycles too, rest you can go for jungle safari can be booked directly or through hotel also, don’t have high hopes on sighting big animals but as a safari it’s fantastic with full feel of jungle.
Overall great stay with good memories
Special thanks to Raj rout who helped in everything booming the place , or having special request for kids food, very patience and value guest .
Surely recommend this place for people who likes to be in nature and relax .

Its rustic, out in the countryside, low rise buildings, short walk outside to rooms, a little like glamping, metal roofed bungalows with tented ceiling inside. porch to sit out on, hot water was unreliable and for a limited time. dinning room and bar service near reception. swimming pool with towels provided. staff very good and local music and dancing early evening was good. local cooking demo/ taste not far away on a camel cart was fun. my trip advisor review has photo's
